About 250 guests were to attend the dinner. Benedict will not be there because he will be attending an evening prayer service with U.S. bishops. Wouldn't it make more sense to sync up the guest of honor's schedule with the dinner in his name?

And why should the Democrats be there? They all look the other way from the anti-Catholic/anti-Christian/anti-faith elements in this society.
Deny them the photo-op. Good.

That’s been my thought. I don’t get it. But of course, I’m not in the WH!

The Pope DOES NOT eat in public . . . period. [The lazy, agenda-driven media has neglected to provide this information to the public.]

From the Supreme Court, the guests are Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy, Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas. Baby-killers need not apply, although Kennedy is a bit weak on the issue.

Rush just re-played the Army Chorus version of The Battle Hymn of the Republic as played on the White House lawn under beautiful blue skies. I got chills when they got to “the coming of the Lord.” Imagine a lib using the WH to allow singing about the coming of the Lord.

How can any of those folks eat knowing that Nancy Pelosi is in the building? I would puke.

You would violate him by having Nancy Pelosi gushing and blushing in the same room?
To: Abathar
The invited Justices are Catholic.

But Democratic rivals Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama, who had a nationally broadcast debate scheduled Wednesday night, were not invited. Geez, they already had Nancy Pelosi, how much suffering do they suppose we inflict on The Pontiff?
