On April 3 I think about 10 or so of the toons that were posted were deleted by Admin. Had to do with copy right. I guess after the deletions he decided it was not worth the time and effort to vet each and every toon. At least this is my take on it.

I do miss them.

I believe Pookie and the management have butted heads for a while now on copyright issues. He is still posting the toons on a couple of other smaller sites that don’t get the scrutiny that FR does.

A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How that 'Toons used to make me smile.
And I knew 'cause Pookie had the chance

But April 10th made me shiver
With the news FR delivered.
Bad news on the doorstep;
I couldn't take one more step.

...But something touched me deep inside
The day the Pookie Toons died.

So bye-bye, Mr. Pookie Toons guy.
