At this rate, if they keep adding Delegates, they both will surpass the needed number of Delegates; then all heck will break loose.

Crazy Democrats !!!

You are absolutely right, skink.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury.”

Thank you DC.

Also, just read your comment about a democracy. I’ve read that over and over before and it is so logical and true.

I had missed that post but haven’t read through the thread.

Thanks, potlatch.

Yep...that quote is over 200 years old, and is very true.
I hate that we are at the point.

Thank you, ‘Rats...NOT!

Consider Art Torres, chairman of the California Democratic Party. He remains uncommitted, yet he could be the most powerful superdelegate of all. Torres gets to name five additional superdelegates, giving him control over six votes at the national convention this summer.

“I am the super of supers!” Torres proclaims with a laugh.

In past years, states used their extra delegates to reward elected officials, donors or labor leaders, or to achieve racial balance in their delegations. This year, the battle for the extra delegates is one of many fronts in a historic fight for the Democratic nomination.

The "peoples" vote doesn't matter to dems - - just window dressing for the chumps... Don't know why they bother.

I’m not sure Obama was ever required to register for the draft. He’s a year older than I am, and no one I know in my generation ever had to register.

The only people who never had to register were born between March 29, 1957, and December 31, 1959. If you were born before March 29, 1957 you had to register under the old 1948 law. Earlier dates were covered under either the 1940 or the 1917 laws. If you were born after December 31, 1959 you had to register under the 1980 retroactive law passed by Carter. Since Obama was born October 4, 1961, he would have been required to register under the Carter-era law.

Geez, most of us not in the insane party didn’t realize that certain superdelegates had this extra power to name additional superdelegates.

The rats have a very biased set of rules to overcome the common elected delegates.

Other then election fraud and political corruption, is there ANYTHING the Democrat party is competent at doing?

I'm sure the last year for "the Draft Registration Act." was in 1974......I registered in 1973, the last full year.
