Martin Luther King, 1963, "I have a dream!"

Barack Hussein Obama, 2008, "I have an excuse!"

I still think that “the speech” would have been a hell of a lot better if James Earl Jones had read it instead of Barack Hussein Obama.

“The speech in its entirety was an attempt to make Jeremiah Wright’s statements about some larger race issue. To try and compare it to the incomparable. To provide lame excuses. To deflect the issue away from his own judgement and character”

Obama’s judgment isn’t looking too good on much, is it?

Al Sharpton can’t even endorse him because it would expose Sharpton as the race pimp he is and it would kill Obama’s chances.

"It worked on the New York Times, which called the speech a "profile in courage""

It is extremely offensive, not to mention asinine, to refer to this speech as having anything to do with "courage" -- it took no courage AT ALL to try to salvage one's political campaign from revelations that the candidate has been intimately associated with a blatantly racist preacher and church for 20+ years. All that Obambi tried to do was to change the subject and re-frame the discussion in ways favorable to his candidacy, while throwing his loving white grandmother under the bus.

It is even more offensive to babble about "courage" in such a context when so many thousands of US troops are in harm's way every day right now. Obambi knows absolutely nothing about courage -- and I do not mean only the courage of the battlefield, he knows nothing of courage in a moral context or a political context. He has led a sheltered, pampered life (like most of us) and has never had to brave any large risks or confront any real dangers to self or career. Most certainly this speech bore no relation to any form of courage.....

Just about anything Obama says is irrelevant as his campaign is the reservoir of political slogans & hyped up statements.

The more I think about Obama and his “historic” “throw Granny from the train speech”, the madder I get.

How dare Barack lecture me about race. How dare he tell me that those of us that were a part of the Reagan Revolution did so because we were racists!!!

Listen Barack, you didn’t give that speech because you WANTED to. You gave that speech because you HAD to. And why was that Barack? I’ll tell you why! It was because you sat under the teachings of a rabid racist for 2 DECADES!!!! You Barack! NOT me!

Don’t lecture me. I’ve spent my years as a white mother teaching my kids, in the words of MLK, to judge someone not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. What have you done? You’ve taken your kids and put them under the racist views of Wright only to raise up another generation to hate. Which one of us is the uniter here Barack?

If you can’t stand up to Rev. Wright, how in the world can we trust you to stand up to Ahmadinejad, Bin Laden or Chavez? The answer is, we can’t! And when I think about it, the only difference between YOUR pastor and these guys, are their addresses. ALL of them hate America and Israel and all of them do it in the name of God!

I have judged the content of your character by those whose company you CHOOSE to keep and I find it to be severely lacking! My prayer is that America will do the same in the privacy of the voting booth.

In other words, SCREW YOU Barack and the RACIST pastor you rode in on!!!

Funny how Hillary had to apologize for Ferraro’s remark, but when Obama’s pastor/mentor spews racism and hate somehow it’s our fault....and his white grandmother’s fault too.

Essentially, when he says he can't disown Wright, it tells me that he won't disown his pastor's views.

When he says that he can't disown Wright anymore than he can disown the black community, he is telling the black community that he agrees with Wright just as many of them do also.

Great analysis. He made the excuse, apology or whatever you want to call it about everything but himself. Even Reverend Wright isn't the issue. Wright is just Barack's issue. That was what needed to be addressed.

Bringing his grandmother into it was the most disgusting part to me. In making that equation he failed to show any reason why any rational person would disown their grandmother, which was the crux of the analogy, but in saying it he made it sound like he felt there was...but for his magnanimous character.

Great post because it shows the false “messiah” for the hypocrite that he is. Most people don’t take to kindly with throwing grandma under the bus. Especially when it’s the same person the sacrificed so much of their own life to raise you.

You want something to write about? Dig into Obama's Kenya connections.

His half brother Abongo (Roy) Obama was his best man in his 'African' wedding. Barak praised him in his book (pp 203-204) and laughed off Roy's strident anti-White islamic rants as understandable. Roy is supposedly a Sharia loving radical, maybe militant, muslim.

Senator Obama actively campaigned for Reala Odinga, who claims to be his cousin, in Odinga's failed attempt to win the Presidency of Kenya. Odinga is an avowed Marxist who was educated in East Germany. Barak's campaigning was so active and highly visible that the sitting government publicly rebuked him, all while he was a US Senator.

Odinga had the written backing of NMALEF, a militant islamic group dedicated to a muslim, sharia Africa. He signed a MOU with this group wherein they committed the muslim vote to him in exchange for the implementation of Sharia law in Kenya (google odinga, kenya, nmalef, mou).

Odinga lost and the killing of non-muslims began. It ended only when the Government caved and agreed to a power sharing arrangement with him.

This to me is far worse an indicator of Obama's potential to hurt our country than is the connection to Wright.

Who you going to believe? Balack Obama or your lying eyes?

Wright is a racist piece of dirt. Can't excuse that away.
