Sociopaths are often brilliant, high achieving people. They’re still evil.

Its obvious Spitzer was a sociopath addicted to the thrills and highs of power. He was like an addict on cocaine and couldn't get enough of it. He kept jonesing for a fix and it ultimately ruined him.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus

“How could he be so stupid?"

No one here knows why...but I do. If you're more than 50 miles out of your home town you're invisible.

New York voters are just as corrupt as Spit. They knew that he was going to force Catholic hospitals to commit abortions and he was going to legalize homo-marriage and they voted for him anyway. Thank God spit got taken down in the most humiliating way.

He probably hates his rich father, and has resented him all his life.

He went after the 77 year old Sen. Bruno, and called him a "Senile piece of Sh^t!"

He went after the big wigs on Wall Street who were in their late 70s and 80s.

He definitely has an "authority" problem.

He was a very smart, neurotic, risk taker who fell in love.

Easy to understand.....these guys have gotten to where they are by CHEATING and RUINING people and doing ILLEGAL things, so that they KNOW they don’t REALLy deserve the pinnacle, the pedestal, the adoration, so they do things to help destroy it. OR THEY ARE JUST SOCIOPATHS.

Bunch of psychiatric gobble-gook. Pure and simple, Spitzer was an attack dog. He assumed that role with gusto and therefore acted with determination to tell the rest of us how to live, while he, in his arrogance, pursued his own path. A true hypocrite, he betrayed the public trust. He's nothing more than a sad little man.

He pursued selective application of the law to cripple certain prostitution rings while leaving those enterprises run by his friends alone. Corrupt pig is a better word for him.

Can’t understand why they use JFK, Jr. as a demonstration of a risk taker. They don’t mention what it was he did that was so risky. Frisbee throwing in Central Park? If they are implying flying a plane as a risk taker; well, then close down the airlines. Besides, the crash had nothing to do w/him. I just find it odd how the article mentions him more than once as a risk taker when they could have used algore’s son - who drinks and drives.
