Nosler makes some new E-tip .30 cal lead free bullets. 150 gr and 180 gr. That's fine for 30-30, .308, 30-06 and 300 Win mag if you care to reload your own.

Rabbit hunters might want to look into 22 Hornet. It's just a little hotter than 22WMR and is a reloadable centerfire. Another alternative is 5.7X28mm. Centerfire and .224 caliber bullets. A Barnes TSX FB 45, 53, 62 and 70 gr .224 caliber bullets would do nicely. The 53 gr would be fine for .223. The 45 or 53 would be fine for 22 Hornet. I would go with the 45 on the 5.7X28.

All good for .22s, but most of my guns are either real or replica 1870s-’90s style pieces that ONLY fire lead. May have to head 40 miles up the road to Nevada.

Yes, we do (I work at Nosler in Bend, Oregon) make lead-free bullets. Bullets have been EXHAUSTIVELY tested and are great. Besides the 30-180 and 30-150 “E” Tip bullets we are beginning the 270-130 “E” Tip with 7mm bullets not far behind.
