Yes, we do (I work at Nosler in Bend, Oregon) make lead-free bullets. Bullets have been EXHAUSTIVELY tested and are great. Besides the 30-180 and 30-150 “E” Tip bullets we are beginning the 270-130 “E” Tip with 7mm bullets not far behind.

That's good news. I recently purchased a 270 barrel for my Encore. After shooting 10 rds at 100 yards (the first lead down the barrel), I'm convinced that my eyesight now demands at least a peep sight or a decent scope.

My wife likes to shoot my .30 cal rifles, so I keep lots of the 100 gr "Plinker" bullets around. We shoot mostly paper targets and spinners, so premium bullets aren't a critical necessity. When I get ready to do some hunting, I'll use the good stuff. Nosler certainly does make good stuff.

A couple of questions: Have you guys at Nosler talked about whether or not you can have approved bullets on store shelves in CA by July 1st? And do you know if any manufacturers are trying to get fixed ammo on the shelves by then? Thanks!
