The abbreviation for Arkansas is AR not ARK...:)

The new abbreviation (since the 80's :-) is AR, but the old one was Ark. With the period. Like "Calif." and "Penna."

I’ve been mailing letters since the 60’s. States always had 2 letter abreviations.
