Michael Savage
A Clinton-appointed judge in California is siding with the Council on Islamic-American Relations in a lawsuit by radio talk-show host Michael Savage.
Judge Susan Illston has issued a terse one-page ruling in the case in which she "granted" a defense motion for judgment on the pleadings with "leave to amend." Although it was released only today, it was dated Friday, apparently finalized shortly after she held a hearing on the issues at hand. It was posted on Michael Savage's website, under the headline "Clinton judge (Illston) sides with CAIR against Savage."
Savage promised immediately he would take the case to the next level, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which he described as "an even more liberal court if you can believe it the most frequently overturned court in the United States of America."
"What I may try to do is have the case removed from California because I cannot get a fair trial," Savage said on tonight's program. "I may remove it to Alabama, for example, where maybe I could get a fair trial maybe where there's still America. It certainly doesn't exist here in California."
The San Francisco-based talker originally accused the organization of copyright violations, but later amended the action to include allegations the group "has consistently sought to silence opponents of violent terror through

Figures.
Clinton-appointed judges are the new root of many evils.
This is nothing more than a publicity stunt by Savage. It will come to nothing more than his law suit against UC Berkeley for not hiring him as the Dean of the School of Journalism.
Bama might be one of the few places where there is still an America.
Shh — don’t let anyone know that we aren’t really totally a bunch of racist close minded hicks. It keeps the arrogant leftists out of our state! This reaps a great standard of living with some really friendly people. And the best food ever. The iced tea in the South is truly the Nectar of the Gods... :)
...And even in China just recently the Chicoms just had a brush with Isamofacists who attempted to try to hijacked a plane. So even China is having its Islamofacists problems.
Also take into consideration that it nearly happened last week at that Jewish yeshiva, with that massacre that it was a miracle that a new Middle Eastern war did not start at all. But it was a close call.
BTTT!
That math sounds about right.
“And just WHO do we hit back against if it is just another band of 50-100 sub-human Islamic savages who pull this off?”
I am so cynical at this point:
Who do we hit back against?
All of them. Kill em all and let God sort it out. I will go play poker with the devil. :)
Or a MO not unlike our ACLU. . .but with more immediate and debilitating consequences.
Good points all; and so true as the threat they pose. They are a terrorist model of an Islamic ACLU.
Our 'fascist Left' and the 'fascist Islamics' may not share the same bed, yet. . .but they share the same bedroom. Another reason why NO DEMOCRAT must be voted into power.
The Islamic provinces have long been a problem. The Chinese have flooded them with Han Chinese . . . has probably only angered the Jihadi’s more.
However, Chinese control is draconion . . . depending . . .
INDEED.
Folks in this country seem to be clueless. Even many FREEPERS ARE CLUELESS.
The clock approaches midnight and many think it’s still party time.
Bigtime draconion.
...Yep.
Thanks, kc8ukw!
Story on the CAIR v. SAVAGE lawsuit. Judge sides with the Cairbears.
I respect your opinion of Savage but I must correct the misimpression. Savage has always separated Islam from the radical extremist Islamists. He was not insulting Islam.
I have listened to virtually every show for more than twelve years. He's got faults -- plenty of them -- but what CAIR is trying to do is something they try over and over to do; to wit, get opinion that they do not agree with kicked off the air.
On this I completely agree. I just wish it was anyone but Savage doing this. His whole show is nothing but "schtick". It really is all about him, all the time.
I agree, but the retalliatory strike will need to be swift and brutal; due to our collective short attention spans.
We’ll need to work quickly before the masses shuffle off back to the couch and American Idol
And one of the good is he's got the guts that perhaps no other has. He's gone after big and small including annoying anonymous folks who have posted his addresses on the web all the way to UC Berkeley (at the time he clearly stated it was to make a point about how positions are filled).
Savage mentioned a web site that tracks CAIR. The web site countered CAIR with a lawsuit forcing CAIR to settle out of court to avoid "discovery." CAIR had tried to get the site off the web but had to give up.
I sincerely believe that no one else in the business has the guts to confront CAIR head-on.
The others would not meekly go away but they do not have the courage to stand out in front of everyone else to challenge radical Islam.
Funny part is, he is the plaintiff in this suit and he’s running commercials on TRN asking for donations.
The other day, he was off (as usual) and the best-of show had a segment where he’s bragging about the half-dozen exotic cars he owns, and his boat, then ironically it goes to a commercial asking for handouts to support his “defense” in the name of free speech.
CAIR are maggots — agreed — but I won’t donate either.
What happened to the tens of thousands he’s supposedly received to date?
Yes, but after that is the Supreme Court. You have to go through the steps, though.
