Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A leading breast cancer surgeon has published an article in a top medical journal accusing scientists and the federal government of ignoring the well-established link between abortion and breast cancer.

Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, a New Jersey based breast cancer expert, says politics is corrupting science.

Lanfranchi, a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, provided shocking examples to show how federal officials have suppressed information concerning the breast cancer risks related to abortion.

The problem here is a supposed involvement of FedGov in medicine. The presence of the Surgeon General should not imply any more than an ombudsman position.

Ignoring? They basically say there is no link. Which I think is clearly a lie.

Ya know, Bill Clinton wasn't "ignoring" Monica Lewinski when he said, "I never had sex with that woman."

The government lies to us. Hard to beleive, but it's true.

Political Correctness run amok. If there was as much evidence showing that having children caused breast cancer it would be the lead story on the nightly news for weeks.

Sounds to me, that if Federal dollars are paying for studies that reveal such a link, then the citizens have a civil rights action if the data supporting such a link is being suppressed. It is depriving people of the right to have access to data, which their tax dollars have paid for, to facilitate their decision-making.

Pray for an end to abortion and the conversion of America to a mindset of life!

I will have to say back in the early 1980,s I was taught in Medical School about the link between abortion and breast cancer. I was also never taught that I should or should not perform abortions. If I wanted to learn to do so I could ask to be taught but it was not mandatory. They even had a pro-life exhibit is the student dormatory. Never a pro-choice rally or event. I wonder if it has changed now?

I also like to see a study done on the pill and breast cancer.

Seems pink ribbons are everywhere.

Yes, actually I do.

I believe that throwing a woman’s body into a hormonal state of “Constantly Pregnant” could cause breast cancer but it is never spoken of.

Not as much now but the “pill” of the past was a timebomb. I had a cousin that died of breast cancer at 43. She had been on the pill for years for “bad periods”. I’m not sure how much the pill had to do with it.

There is a very interesting article in Newsweek about chemicals and toxins in our food and food containers. I read it in the doctor's office, and then Googled "Newsweek phtalates" and went right to it. I would post it, but I don't know how. If you could do that, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I didn’t read the article but what you refer to is basically chemicals used to make plastics softer that mimic female hormones...
