Drift away from Clinton frustrates many women

DALLAS -- Darlene Ewing is a Democratic activist, longtime feminist and very frustrated Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter.
Like many who have dreamed of seeing a woman in the Oval Office, Ewing doesn't understand why women are drifting in ever-greater numbers away from Clinton toward her rival, Barack Obama. This trend, which has imperiled the candidacy of the woman once considered a shoo-in for her party's nomination, infuriates the frank-talking Texan.
"They're running to the rock star, to the momentum, to the excitement," said Ewing, a family law attorney who chairs the Dallas County Democratic Party. "And I am worried that if Hillary doesn't get elected, I am never going to see a woman president in my lifetime. I do think her chances are slipping away, and it [ticks] me off."
This sentiment is being expressed around the country -- in testy dinner-party conversations, around the water cooler, and in the public forum. As Clinton's shot at the nomination boils down to two contests Tuesday -- in the delegate-rich states of Texas and Ohio, where she is running neck and neck with Obama -- many women who support the New York senator are angered and saddened by their sisters' desertion to the other side.
Old-school feminists have lined up against each other....

Women tend to vote for who will be the best for the country, just like everyone else.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I take issue with that statement, women gave us two terms of the Arkansas traveler con artist from hell.

I love it. These hags have this coming to them as payback for decades of arrogant stupidities, lies and frauds foisted on a compliant well-meaning populace.

Darlene,
Your only stated reason for supporting Hillary as president is because she is a woman?
A shallower mind I do not know.

I would have to see the numbers but I know Bill only got 43% of the vote the first time around and I know that he got 90% of the black vote. I would guess thats somewhere around 10 or 11 percent of the total vote so that leaves only 33 percent of the vote left.
I should have said that women vote for who they think will be best for this country, not "who will be best for the country". They just don't think Hillary would be better than Obama.

"I wont even mention the darkest possibility." That of course would be putting Bill Clinton on the road to campaign for Obama.
If he "helped" Obama like he "helped" Hillary even John McCain would stand a chance!

I think Nicholson is possessed, personally.
But he’s good at what he does. He certainly plays evil villans well.

"Most women have decided that they dont want LESBIANS to do their thinking for them. The dirty little secret of dykes: THEY HATE STRAIGHT WOMEN. Unless they can flip them. Hell hath no fury than that of a Lesbian scorned, lol."
Many of them don't hate men, except in situations where one is competing with a man for another woman. Let me tell you about my surprise way back in the '80s. I'm a man.
After a little research of the job market, employment prospects for my engineering major looked really bleak. I crossed over to English (big mistake--program overrun by man-haters). I had seen the attitudes around campus and around town against men in general but from a distance. I wanted to find out what was behind it. An easy class--a sure _A_ for every student--was recommended: a women's studies introductory class. Tests were open book.
A lesbian, drawing from their intuition and being nice, asked me to sit with her and the other lesbians. I didn't know that she was a lesbian until weeks later. After class started, the lesbians were shocked despite what they already knew. A herd of divorcing/separating women and many of the younger, single students voiced the most loud hatreds against men. Over forty guest speakers for the class (local businesswomen, instructors and others) were happy with the noisiest man-haters.
Here's some extra background.
After finishing that class and a full load of other classes for the semester, I went to Ft. Leonard Wood for three months of initial combat training. I returned to school (National Guard). Very few people at the University recognized me after completion of the initial training. I resumed classes a month late during the semester after the training and scored high. The next semester, the English rhetoric (3) instructor--a big shot there--made most of her screaming man-hating speeches while standing in front of me. She spewed her hatred from clenched teeth, until spittle fell on me. She told me to leave her class, because she "said so and" didn't "like" me.
My advisor told me to switch to a BA program instead of BS. I dropped the whole university thing, walked, and left _F_s for all classes that semester.
I never went back. Our established rulers, rich constituents who sponsor the media, break the potential competition (families, their kids against our kids) administer most of our manufacturing overseas, and choose the candidates for both parties in politics, can go to hell. I'll be poor, until I can compete against them and take their clients/customers. They can eat my drift.
And BTW, they should have supported Duncan Hunter and tended to their defense.

You did well, Orlando. Obama is no good for families. He continues the family-breaking started by slave owners so long ago. Breaking families is not his main focus, as is Hillary’s, but he will give positions of government power to those who break families.
I’m one who believes that Obama is least likely to win against McCain, though. Many of Hillary’s supporters—consumed with lifelong, generalized hatred—will even vote against him in the general election. It’s obvious, as to why Republicans would not vote for him in the general election. Hillary, if nominated, would have many Republican women and male feminists crossing over to vote for her.

Interesting. As a woman, they tend to regard straight women differently from men. Many dykes are actually AFRAID of men. They think men would fight back, and maybe deck them. They have no fear of straight women fighting back in any way. When a straight woman DOES fight back and get in their face, they are SHOCKED. I remember a dyke threatening me... and i threatened her back. She was SHOCKED, AND BACKED DOWN. They tend to react violently to about everything.

... overjoyed to vote for the hunky Obama. Great God Almighty, if Obama is "hunky," this is one sad society.
