The Check Obama Can’t Cash by Bob Parks (Ouch!)

The Check Obama Can’t Cash

Bob Parks, Intel Radio Network

I’ve been tossing this about for a while, and made brief mention of it. It just took a little push off the cliff to really get me going.

According to London’s Times Online,

“Trevor Phillips, chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, claimed that the Democratic front-runner would ultimately disappoint the African-American community and dismissed the notion that he would be "the harbinger of a post-racial America" if he becomes the country’s first black President.

“Writing in Prospect, the monthly current affairs magazine, Mr. Phillips suggested that guilt over transatlantic slavery was behind Mr. Obama’s support from middle class whites.”

I’ve mentioned the whole liberal white quilt aspect before. Why else are so many college kids willing to dose themselves with gasoline over Barack Obama? Because of the obvious adoration being pushed upon them from their gray pony tailed, ultra-liberal professors who probably believe most of their students are descendents of slave-owners.

Bill Clinton, the “first black president,” did little to improve the plight of blacks in America. Now while many of us know that people have to want to help themselves and not rely on government, American blacks have been empty-promised solution after solution every two years. Despite the fact that 90-95% of them vote for liberals, that loyalty has borne virtually no fruit.

That is, if you include “midnight basketball.”  Now, Barack Obama has offered… hope.

It’s kind of like blacks who were jumping up and down in joy when O.J. was first found not guilty.  Like, what did they win? Obama’s presidential run is all about symbolism. A President Barack will mean the end to what, exactly? Obama and his family will be hooked up for life. Will all racial barriers be broken down? Will the sky open up, and will we hear celestial choirs of joy?

Phillips added,

"In truth, Obama may be helping to postpone the arrival of a post-racial America and I think he knows it. If he wins, the cynicism may be worth it to him and his party. In the end he is a politician and a very good one: his job is to win elections."

"If he fulfils the hopes of whites, he must disappoint blacks – and vice versa."

Blacks are expecting an almost instant leveling of the playing field. Government cannot detoxify the millions of blacks who’ve willingly been injected with the liberal drug. Obama can’t erase the black notion that studying in school is acting white. Obama can’t outlaw the housing project mentality that bred generations of social dependents. Black gang members won’t lay down their arms and crack upon hearing that the President Obama has come down from above.

Ironically, it won’t be the black vote that puts Barack Obama over the top. It’ll be those liberal, guilt-ridden whites. Barack Obama now has to circumnavigate that windy road where he can’t promote policy that will help blacks at the expense of whites, and vice versa. That “hope” thing may be inspirational, but can also be risky.

Just ask Jesus.

Black conservatives don’t have this issue because we don’t pander to poor blacks, offering them the moon in exchange for a vote. Once Barack Obama successfully completes the primary phase, he will place his first foot on the wobbly tightrope. Depending how he conducts his rhetoric, he’ll probably have smooth sailing all the way to the White House.

But once he enters the Oval Office, a lot of people will be waving checks in front of him. Checks he issued that will come due. Who will have to pay up, and how burned will they feel when they find out how used they were?

Barack Obama is not stupid. He understands where he stands in the grand scheme of things. All the years of deliberate, political, liberal neglect in black community is now hanging over his head.  He’s going to be expected to fix things and fix things fast; things he can’t possibly deliver without ticking off the millions who also helped elect him.

Barack, the check is about to bounce.

Obama can’t do a thing until the black community looks to themselves to fix their own problems. The old idea of slavery is done and past....that dog don’t hunt any more.

When Obama fails, his failure will be blamed on white America and conservatives. If we don’t prepare, that is. Of course, we can see it coming ten miles away, so there’s hope. It’s bad, but not that bad.

It will be interesting to see if he pushes reparations for slavery.

“that dog don’t hunt any more.”

Barack, the check is about to bounce.

If it bounces after he's elected it will become a giant schit sandwich and we'll all have to take a bite.

But once he enters the Oval Office

The first 100 days in 2009 of the Obama administration:

Day 5, the Pelosi-Kennedy Speech Act of 2009 - limits negative speech in public regarding the POTUS.

Day 9, the Hope and Change Act of 2009 - mandates that all schools, public, private and homeschools have minium of 1 hour daily political indoctrination.

Day 17, the Schumer-Frank-Clinton Healthcare Reform act, mandates that sex change operations be paid for by all health plans.

Day 22, the Military Strengthening Act of 2009, all US forces are to abandon posts in Iraq, Afghanistan and Philippines return to US without equipment in 30 days.

Day 98, the Segregation Act of 2009, US citizens who violate the Pelosi-Kennedy Speech Act of 2009 are remanded to federal custody.

The black community’s only concern is a black man in the Whitehorse. They will not fix what is wrong because they refuse to look inside at the real problems they promote and foster in thier communities. T o make these changes they will have to fit into an “ uncle tom” role which will not be looked upon in thier communities as a favorable avenue to walk and will be viewed as a traitor to your race. Obama walks a fine line, he will either piss off the lemming white followers or be labeled an uncle tom. There is no in between for him. Most middle and upper molecule's black families will be taxed just the same as thier counter part white families and I’m sure they will not be happy with this at all, having reached a professional point in thier lives only to be punished for earning to much.

When BhO says he will heal the divisions and unite the country and "repair this world", those are mighty big checks that he can't cash.

On the big issues, national security, preemptive war, abortion, gun control, freedom of religion, the economy, BhO can do no more than promise hope and change.

If he is elected, he will have to stammer and tap dance and admit that those divisions aren't likely to heal. Where is thy change, O wise one?

Government cannot detoxify the blacks who have have been injected with the Liberal drug.

Couldn’t have been said better........

The gangs will NOT disappear. They will feel emboldened.

The grasping hands who have now lived almost 5 generations on handouts funneled thru bloated government departments from white AND black hard working taxpayers will not disappear.

ATTENDING school has to precede studying in school. They do neither. Blacks who yearn to become parents at the age of 13 have no skills to lift their spawn any higher, except at the government trough.

Bill Cosby needs to be cloned and sent on a tour of the USA with free tickets.

After watching this demise of a people who could be better within themselves for the last 48 years, I don’t have any HOPE for those who will not help themselves.
Obama can HOPE all he wants, and I understand that he is charismatic.
This writer is correct- The check will bounce. The bank might even close.

Is it legal to write things like this for public consumption?

I mean, has Parks committed some kind of crime? And will the Imus Posse be after him soon?

I read somewhere on one of the threads that Obama's family, being Muslims in Kenya, are the descendants of Arab slave traders, raiding into black Africa for slaves to send to the New World and elsewhere. If so, it would throw a monkeywrench into his effort to gain the support of the descendants of slaves.

I guess we could probably prove that this is true, and no one would care.

Don’t overlook the first thing Bill Clinton sat down at a desk to do following his being sworn in. He took care of Planned Parenthood and the rest of the baby killing crowd. Count on Barack (n) Obama to do much the same.
