Free Dominion is undergoing an upgrade which is taking far longer than anticipated. We hope to be back up by around midnight eastern time 29 Feb (today).

The only time I’ve heard of Free Dominion has been when there are difficulties. Maybe one of their reps will do a little PR effort here at FR. Unless, of course, it’s supposed to be a well-kept secret, as it is now.

What the heck is Free Dominion??It is Free Republic's Canadian sister publication, which has a dedicated area for Freepers on those occasions when FR crashes.

After two days of weird stuff ( blank pages, then a gold on gold format that was nearly invisible ) it finally looks and acts like it used to, except it’s faster. Thank Heaven!
