WASHINGTON - Ralph Nader could be poised for another third party presidential campaign.
The consumer advocate will appear on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday. Nader launched his 2004 presidential run on the show.
A spokesman for Nader did not immediately return a call seeking comment. Kevin Zeese, who was Nader's spokesman during the 2004 presidential race, but is no longer working for him, said Friday that Nader has been actively talking to "lots of people on all sorts of levels" about the possibility of making another run.
Zeese said he could only guess what Nader might do, but added: "Obviously, I don't think ("Meet the Press" host) Tim Russert would have him on for no reason."
Last month, Nader began an exploratory presidential campaign and launched a Web site that promises to fight "corporate greed, corporate power, corporate control."
Nader's appearance on "Meet the Press" was announced Friday in an e-mail message from Nader's exploratory campaign. The message from "The Nader Team" urges supporters to tell friends and family to watch the show and requests online contributions.
"As you know, we've been exploring the possibilities in recent weeks," the message says.

Run Ralph Run!
This could hurt McCain’s chances, big time.
Yea, he will suck away 2 or 3 votes from the democrat vote.
Unfortunately, it would also hurt Republicans' chances in the House and Senate races.
What, again?
He must be nuts
You can’t go anymore left than the two in the democrat party
Aint gonna happen. Obama is as left as they get. Nader is a little old creepy man that still lives in his mom’s basement, versus the GQ Negro. Nader has nothing to offer except a “Look at me! I still think I’m relevent!”
The irony here is that Obama is running to the left of Nader. Nader gets squat this time around.
Yeah, I heard him on the XM Radio station “POTUS 08” a couple weeks ago, sounding like he was thinking about running again. His candidacy will make waves approximately equivalent to that of a dust speck falling into Lake Powell.
He’s 74. He took votes from Gore in 2000.
But why run now? If Obama gets the Democrat nomination, what is the point? It sounds like it is all about Ralph.
Can’t Nader and the Klintongs just go away?
Probably that Ralph doesn't like Obama's conciliatory tone. He wants a candidate who will bash the military-industrial complex 24/7.
I think he really dug Edwards.
Who cares? The more leftists running, the better.
Does he drive a Corvair too???
Oh please please please pick Huckabee as a running mate.
The more votes you get, the less Obama gets!
We do owe a debt of gratitude to Nader for getting 98,000 votes in FL in 2000. Had he not, we’d have been saying President Gore for the last 7 years.
