Minnesota Senate: Coleman Falls (slightly) Behind Franken, Holds Modest Lead Over Ciresi
Rasmussen Reports ^ | February 19, 2008

Posted on 02/20/2008 2:15:20 PM PST by Clintonfatigued

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey found Al Franken slightly ahead of incumbent Senator Norm Coleman in what is likely to be a closely contested campaign. Franken, a former comedian and political commentator, leads Coleman 49% to 46%. If the Democrats nominate trial attorney Mike Ciresi, the poll shows Coleman attracting 47% of the vote while Ciresi earns 45%.

These results show a significant improvement for Franken since an early November poll found him trailing by seven-points. That same survey found Coleman with a three point lead over Ciresi.

If the pubs had any stones at all they would be running commercials of this foul mouthed idiot in action, there must be numerous examples of his filthy mouth on stage, in public, ranting about everything.

Morons.

Wife and I voted for Jesse. He talked a good line; limited government, getting meddling bureaucrats out of our lives, etc. Then, about six months into his administration, something went “tilt” in his feeble brain and he came out in favor of bigger staffs in all the agencies, light rail, etc. He coulda been a contenda...

Doesn’t say much about the residents either. But then again I live in Pennsylvania and we kicked out Santorum for the uni-brow Casey.

One poll does not an upset make. Irrespective of who the RAT nominee is, Norm Coleman will have to fight for reelection, but I’m confident he’ll win by between 4%-8%.

Rasmussen Reports telephone survey

Rasmussen used to do accurate polls. Then someone stuck his polling device up his rear end and they have been excrementy ever since.

If the people of Minnesota elect Franken, we should put the state up for sale.

Something happened to Jesse’s brain shortly after he was elected. Obviously he was going to be a one term gov and didn’t care what people thought of him after he got to St. Paul.

With Rasmussens current accuracy I don’t pay this alot of attention. Didn’t he have Mittster up 50-42 over McCain the day before the Cali-primary? He and Zigby both had Mitt up IIRC.
