Given the angle of the photo and amount of lawn visible. It looks like at least 10 to 20 yards from the side of the building.

Prayers for the deceased and the family.
I am out of here before the tinfoil starts flying.
She was discovered in the early morning hours. What makes anyone think she jumped from the building after coming to work? Was she married? Did she actually commute to work that morning or did she just go missing on friday and they “discovered” her body on monday at sunrise?
I would name her “Shorty” or maybe “Flo”.
We covered this last night in a thread (right after it happened) but damned if I can find it.

How do you make it to be 44 years old without a name?
Hmmm....
Carry the three, multiply by this squiggly thingy; no, divide; you can’t ask the teacher (she doesn’t have a clue); scribble....scratch.
Ah hah!
I figure she would take around 4 seconds to fall 240 feet, allowing slightly for drag. To travel, say, 24 yards (just two “dozens of yards”), her horizontal velocity would have to average 18 ft/sec. This is about 12 mph, even assuming that her horizontal velocity did not decline linearly to zero during flight. If it did, she would have to be an olympic sprinter with enough room to accelerate to full speed before exiting the window.
Something is seriously wrong here.
RIP
I want Horatia from CSI:Miami on this case. Something doesn’t smell right.
The woman who died after falling from the U.N.'s Secretariat Building was a 44-year-old employee of the World Health OrganizationShame on everyone who laughs at that... ;')

Both are not uncommon and are Italian I grew up w/ a kid w/ that name
Imagine the irony if she landed on that statue of the handgun tied in a knot at the UN building?
Several dozen yards(2)at least = 24 X 3'= 72'
This is the minimum based on the official statement.
Impossible without rocket shoes.
I’m half way through Bolton’s book* and have the distinct impression that working at the U.N. could lead anybody to this end.

A WHO computer specialist might be one of the first to notice that those $0.50 emergency food packets for starving African children suddenly started costing $500 when the UN started buying them from Kofi Annan’s new import-export business.
Was Colby Arkansided?
