No, actually this is the aging hippies and their children, so to answer your second question, nope, they're on Social Security.
What's actually really ticking me off about this whole thing is the "let's negotiate" attitude of the Federal Government. "Unwelcome Intruders?" They better all thank God (or the Goddess, or Satan or whoever the Hades they pray to) that I'm not President for the word would go out from Sea to shining Sea that Berkeley was the "unwelcome intruder" in America. Since they no longer wanted a recruiting center (notice the word "recruit" not "press gang" where they force you to join) then they no longer would want federal funded highways, Social Security, all the 'perks' of being a city in the United States. No more clean water, no more groceries, no nothing. I would line the highway at the city limits with barb wire and tanks. Nobody in, and nobody out. Let them have their perfect Utopia, and let them make it all by themselves.
My father ( a Marine) served this Country faithfully, and these total bastards need to understand that the military is what keeps this Country free. They have the right to protest, and by God so do I. They offend me. I am offended that they are breathing the same air.
Rant over
The ones who are not on some kind of disability, work for the city of Berkeley.
Most are freelance pros. They work the circuit. One day it's in Berkeley, the next day they are out doing a Kyoto gig or marching the mall in D.C. against Bush or whover is in power. They get funded from the likes of Soros thru various outlets such as MoveOn, CodePink, etc...The truth is that they are individually as much into free enterprise for their own pocket book as the suits that they spit on- bringing hypocrisy down to a whole new level. They sure don't do it on their own dime.
How did they get to Berkley so fast I thought Kristen and team were going to be Freeping them in WashintonDC where they are supposed to protest the recruiting office there?
WHo the hell funds these women?
Whoever it is I wish they would send them to Egypt to hang out with Cindy and the Slahm Bros
There used to be a tradition in France where women kissed newbies in the armed forces if they were in uniform. Here, we have nasty hags offering to kiss people as a means of dissuading them from joining the armed forces.
But it was a good rant. I concur. They have a right to protest, but they don’t have rights to federal earmark money. Let them do without. They only get to act like idiots because of our servicemen and women who protect that right.
If Code Pink is the best face the left can put on womanhood then I don’t blame guys for turning gay.
Personally, I’d consider paying them if they’ll promise to keep their clothes ON.
Must be something in the water.
In the voice of Simon Cowell
“that was disguting, absolutely horrid”
MAKE LOVE NOT WAR might have sounded enticing when we were all 20...
But now we are 60...
And lips dont look so inviting..nor taste like wine...
and things are not arranged the same way...
DUH, girls...
I dont think so..
It’s the ultimate irony that these idiots protest the very military that won their right to protest.
I spit on these losers.
The two women holding the “Kiss Don’t Enlist” banner might get some takers from a few dirty old men, but for the 18 year- old recruitee, they would qualify as hags.
Sure they work for George Soros, among others.
As for Code Pink, what does anyone expect? These are, largely, people with serious mental problems who only serve to validate the claims of abuses of the troops following the Vietnam war. It happened, of course it happened, and some of these same idiots were involved. Self-righteous, hate-filled, utterly convinced of their moral superiority and quite the stupidest individuals walking the face of the earth. The Marines pledge their lives to the protection of this?
Does anyone know how fruitful Marine recruiting has been in that rat’s nest?
NO HERPES OF OIL!!!
