Mughniyeh, who had been in hiding for years, was among the fugitives indicted in the United States for the 1985 hijacking of a TWA airliner in which a U.S. Navy diver was killed. He was also suspected of masterminding attacks on the U.S. Embassy and the Marine base in Lebanon that killed more than 260 Americans in the 1980s when he was then the Iranian-backed Hezbollah’s security chief.

There is no mention of a Lebanon based organization behind the killing. I would like to believe the rub out was in retaliation for the Lebanoneese political murders comitted by hezbollah.

Can’t remember the name but Harrari comes to mind. The Lebanoneese are being taught the tactics learned in Iraq and now being used by the IDF...... listen then kill.

“Bush’s fault?”

Dick Cheney went hunting with him (and didn’t miss).

I do hope this report is true. My understanding of Mughniyeh is that he was major force behind all sorts of crap for many decades. This would be HUGE.

Hassan Nasrallah is the top Hezbollah guy in Lebanon. Nabi Berri is the Hezzie in the government. Harari was killed by Hezbollah or Syrian operatives for wanting Syria out of Lebanon. BTW, it’s “Lebanese”, not “Lebanoneese” (your way makes more sense though :) )

There is a lot of unfinished business between the U.S. and Hizbollah since Reagan turned tail and ran in 1983.

I understand there are others, but you get what you can, when you can. Not only that but you send a message.... stop that shit!!

It makes sense to me for Lebaneese operatives to be behind the rubout
