What I will not do is use my rancor and resentment as an excuse to enable Obama or Clinton to give us another Vietnam.

But what you will do is help to push the ever leftward and over the brink.

You will get Amnesty with McCain
You will get a weaker economy with McCain because of his support of the GLobal Warming scam.
You will get no drilling for Oil in the US because he has sided with the Environweenies.
You will get an Embryonic Stem Cell bill passed because he supports it.
You will get moderate judges on the SCOTUS who will not vote with the conservative minority on the bench, because John McCain, at best, is a moderate.

You think 2006 was bad?

Having John McCain as president will destroy the GOP because of the factors I mentioned above will push the Conservatives out of the party.

Good luck with that.

“What I will not do is use my rancor and resentment as an excuse to enable Obama or Clinton to give us another Vietnam.”

Wake up. we’re already in another Viet Nam.

Mccain wants to close Gitmo, stop waterboarding, add that to the PC way we’ve been fighting this war for the past 4 years and don’t expect things to get better over the 100 years

“No thanks - I’ll take ANY rat for president over him, and count on Republicans in the house and senate to keep them in check.”

Let’s see, that would be the same bunch of Republicans that when they had a majority of both Houses, and the Presidency, couldn’t get anything past the mean old Democrats?
I think it’s 6 SCOTUS justices over 68. You’d rather Hillary!/Obama pick the replacements?
Put Hillary!/Obama in office, and you’ll get all the bad you mentioned about McCain, and more... cut and run from Iraq, higher taxes, rapidly expanded government with more “programs”.

This is a case of cutting off your nose to spite your face, voting for the Democrat, or not voting.

I wish I had your crystal ball.

But I know what Obama and Clinton will do to our troops at war. Because they keep repeating it.

You project your fears based on something you think might happen.

And besides, just when did McCain become a one man Congress to do all those things on your list?

Pulling troops out of Iraq doesn’t require a Congressional act.

Wow, did you have help with that comeback?! As with most humorless individuals, when you try to venture into that territory, you fail miserably.

Is this your attempt at saying "I know you are but what am I"? The PeeWee Herman routine just doesn't make it.

Anyone who calls him/herself a conservative and has any prinsiples whatsover cannot support McCain under any circumstances..

Wilco, that is exquisite BS. I am as conservative as anyone, and I do not agree with McCain on several issues...but I also agree with him on others. I will gladly vote for him over Obama or Hillary...I can’t wait until idiots like you stay home in November, and we get Hillary coupled with a democratic congress...and at least 2 Supremes retiring. Nice. The unborn will also thank you for your help.

If McCain wants support from former Romney/Thompson/Hunter, etc. backers (which he’ll need), insulting them isn’t going to get it.

I’m currently undecided on whether I can vote for McCain. My guy Fred Thompson endorsed him, but that doesn’t mean I’ll automatically vote for him. I’m a little disappointed in Fred for endorsing McCain so soon. Not that I wasn’t sort of expecting it, but I thought he’d wait until later, maybe until after the convention.

If McCain continues denouncing his conservative critics as “extremist,” I can’t vote for him. If, however, he turns his wrath on the leftists, I might give him my vote. Chewing out the Berkeley city council, for example, would be the perfect issue for McCain to sink his teeth into (no pun intended).

Yes, the “Reagan Democrats”.

I know some Dems that voted for W, too, as they disliked Gore and Kerry.

What worries me about the Obamanation is that he is hardcore left but has the charisma to have people like him. And some people vote based on who they like personally.

And what kind of message does it send to other RINOs if you make king RINO president?

I trust that bunch of Republicans in the house and senate about as far as I could throw them, but I don't trust them at ALL under a McCain presidency.

We're going down the tubes either way, and I want it blamed on a rat. 4 years and out!

It took 4 years of Jimmy Carter to bring us Ronald Reagan.

“So, you side with Obama and Clinton?”

I don not. My point is that we are fighting this WOT with our hands tied behind our backs. McCain along with the other Democrats in this race will only continue that policy - Mccain himself said that we would be in iraq for 100 years.

That’s BS. In less than a decade we were in and out of WWII and defeated nazism forever (basically)

As far as Iraq, we already won.

I am not staying home. I’m going out for conservatives just not voting for McCain. I’m not realy sure why you have so mmuch faith in McCain appointing judges to overturn Roevs.Wade - he was against Alito and also a founding member of the gang of 14.

GB appointed two justices and we still have Roe. Clinto had eight years, plus appointments and we still have Roe.

we will have a much better chance of blocking activist judges appointed by clinton or obama than we ever will with RINO MCcain

Yes. He has the power of speech. He can whip up and motivate a crowd . . . right through the television screens.

A few days ago I watched a segment of Hannity and Colmes. They had a Democratic focus group, almost all whom where Obama worshippers.

Hannity asked the moderator to ask them to give just one Obama accomplishment. Just one.

They couldn't. Some looked embarrassed, because they couldn't. Some looked surprised they were asked. But not one thought it made a difference.

"Obamanation." Excellent term for it.

This isn't our father's (and in many cases Grandfather or Great Grandfather's) war.

My only son is serving in it now and no doubt, if his kids take up the family business, they'll be fighting it too, wherever it needs to be fought. Unless the cut, run and surrender crowd has their way.

As far as Iraq, we already won.

So, you belong to the "let's declare victory and go home" crowd.

Don't make it true. Would make me utterly ashamed to betray our troops again.

I'm voting for McCain. He'll fight.

Ronald Reagan had a lot of Democrats cross over and vote for him.

Ronald Reagan did it by espousing common sense conservative principles offered up in an optimistic and pattiotic manner. McCain does it by selling out conservatives, butt kissing the MSM and lying about his GOP rivals.

Ronald Reagan also imposed virtual amnesty and a huge raise in taxes.

BTW , who hasn't sold out conservatives ?

I just endured a mexican at work proclaiming "Brown Pride" and how whitey's need to learn spanish because they will be taking over soon because they outnumber us.

pissed me off, all i could think of the rest of the day was how much i HATE our government and the rat bastid politicians !

McCain is still the best chioce we are left with, not much but better than dems
