Well at least they aren't the Dems. Apprently the Democrats spending plan goes like this.
"If you got it, we will spend it."
Man, it like we are putting teenagers in charge of the govt.
"If it feels good, spend it".
Another telling graph is for 'Homeland Security, International Affairs and National Defense and Veterans':
Hillary has a huge "Peace Dividend'.
Meaningless dribble!
The billions on these charts don’t always add to the total. For example: Huckabee has $13B (non-defense/domestic) plus $67B (Homeland Defense, Nat’l Sec) but the total chart says $54B. Charts are mislabeled. I think the ‘Total’ is now labeled ‘Homeland Security/Nat’l Defense’.
-13 Billion its just hard to read
(Anybody who feels inclined to comment about the above post, please do so in this thread.)
The people need to wise up to constitutional flunkies like Senators Obama and Clinton who foolishly spend our tax dollars based on non-existent federal powers. The people need to quit sitting on their hands and petition spending-happy federal "leaders" like Obama and Clinton, demanding that they resign from their jobs, as opposed to trying to send them to the Oval Office.
Anyone that would draw up this bogus graph without attributing the spending, to McCain, that would result from McCain/Kennedy's amnesty bill, something on the order of 800 billion, is full of **it.
Point taken. I’ll look into that.
Argued cost of McCain / Kennedy Immigration BillAlso, the graph in question is for the '08 budget, I believe. Given that the failed McCain / Kennedy bill was an earlier issue, the graph is not in error in that aspect.
Finally, ignoring the actual cost of the bill, it remains that the federal government reasonably has the power to spend money on immigration related projects.
On the other hand, I'm sure that we can find federal spending proposals sponsored by Obama or Clinton in the '08 budget that are based on constitutionally non-existent federal government powers.
Fact-based corrections to the information above are welcome.
