The McCain campaign continues to perpetuate its Big Lie in the run-up to Super Tuesday. And thanks to MSM enablers and open-borders Republicans rooting for a McCain win, voters are swallowing the Big Lie. The Big Lie is that McCain can be trusted on immigration and border security

..
You want straight talk? McCain’s tongue says he’s “listened and learned.” But his heart is with La Raza, the militantly ethnocentric, anti-immigration enforcement Hispanic lobbying group that honored him in 1999 and whose annual conference he keynoted in 2004.

Go back and watch McCain on the Senate floor during the amnesty debate. Refresh your memories. Here he is comparing guest-worker tax treatment to Jim Crow laws:

"Sen. Tom Coburn, a staunch amnesty opponent, has endorsed McCain. He’s letting bygones be bygones in the spirit of senatorial collegiality.

But I remind you that McCain refused to support Coburn’s amendment to the shamnesty bill calling for full enforcement of our immigration laws."

Vote for McCain if you want Amnesty.

McCain promised Coburn something, Secretary of HHS I suspect.

Politicians are pretty transparent creatures.

Look at all the folks who jumped on the McCain bandwagon after Florida, they want jobs in his administration.

Politicians are pretty transparent creatures.

Just look at that wagonload of lackeys on Team Romney. Amazing how core values can change the moment a check clears.

You are quite right about that. President Bush's views and actions on illegal immigration ARE almost as reprehensible as those of Senator McCain. But what is your point? Neither of them should be acceptable to folks here on FreeRepublic.

I just received a call from a McCain campaign worker here in Arizona asking me if John McCain could count on my vote in tomorrow’s primary.

I told him that I’d rather shovel $hit out of a cuckoo clock than vote for McCain as I’m repulsed be just about everything McCain stains for —included the continued invasion of illegal aliens from Mexico into Arizona. The guy was totally stunned.

If I had a magic wand I send all of them back home and end the anchor baby law.
Unfortunately I don’t have one and after Prop 187 the Cal Reps had a Pyhrric victory and lost the Hispanic vote.
Bush got 44% last election. Remember the McCain -Kennedy bill was also the Bush/Rove bill .
When Romney loses in a landslide ( despite my voting for him)because he gets only 5% of the Hispanic vote , you will have wished MCCain was the candidate.
