Romney leads McCain by 37 percent to 34 percent in California. The poll's margin of error is 2.9 percentage points.
"California could be Romney's last stand," Zogby said. "If he wins there, it may not be a whole new ballgame, but it can give those Republicans who oppose McCain hope they still have a chance to stop him."

Meanwhile the liberal media is PUSHING hard trying to demoralize Romney voters.
Making the media look stupid would be just as much fun as defeating McCain.
We can do both by voting for Romney Tuesday.

This is good news...but polls are only a sampling and the real “poll” will be on Tuesday. I personally believe Romney can do well enough on Tuesday to maintain a close race. I believe California will be close and that either way, if it stays close, that Romney will maintain his viability. I am hoping that last night’s Main caucuses was a indication of a trend for Romney.

I don’t believe it. This year the theme song is “tease the conservatives with possibilities then just when they have hope, whack their heads off.” It’s not a very catchy tune, but it gets the job done.

My energy is soaring with this great news!! Let us not forget the 18 delegates that Romney picked up last night in the Maine Caucus. Let’s fool those pollsters on Tuesday!!!

How accurate has Zogby been this year so far?

I hope this is true and Romney pulls some big upsets. I cannot wait to watch on Tuesday.

I keep hearing it is very hard to poll California. Things vary greatly from county to county.

I saw Huckabee on TV this morning saying he refuses to withdraw and that Romney’s campaign never took off....AND he said “I can honestly say that John McCain is not a liberal” GAG!

From what I hear, McCain looked really bad in the Cali debate. Things like that make a difference especially if it reinforces what his critics have been saying.

Romney led in similar Zogby polls 3 days before Florida as well, before McCain’s “timetables” dirty trick.

I have some cautious hope for Romney in CA, because Independents won’t be allowed to vote in the GOP race...though they WILL be allowed in the Dem primary, which gives Obama a chance over Hillary.
