I agree with both of you.

I suppose I could muster some interest into seeing how he pronunciates the English language and what his ongoing strategery is. But I don’t expect to hear anything that has anything to do with the realities of the nation. Just a lame duck’s Swan Song.

Okay - is there a genuine FREEPER left in FR? Some of you have that list of Bush's accomplishments? WE need it now - before I puke on some of the posters here.

In the meantime, some of you who can think independently might enjoy this.

...He will praise the bipartisan stimulus package (which I agree is really redistribution)...

Resdistribution is a polite word for it. In my neck of the woods we'd call it a bribe. And to quote a famous Frenchman...

The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.

Alexis de Tocqueville

And I'll add a ditto for the Executive branch.

I’m with you.

You honestly believe that:

“that his great act as President was to destroye the coalition that was the Republican Party.”?

THAT’S BS

I was going to say that we need drinking game keywords, but if we really want to get liquored up, we should have to take a sip (not a shot! Good heavens!) every time a FReeper slams the President.

(I'm sure you understand why I said a sip.)

We won’t know until the speech is delivered, but if we can decipher his phrases we might find a clue or two, a forewarning which might be the last piece of truth we hear before the Nov elections.

I’m 48 years old... and, since I was 8, I have NEVER missed a SOU. But, tonight? I just can’t bring myself to watch it. It’s one thing, when I can listen to Clinton speak nonsense... I can yell at him, and admire his skill at lying.

But.. when MY GUY, is set to give praise to Pelosi for a refund gift that excludes me, and MY GUY is set to give away BILLIONS of MY MONEY to combat the fraud of AGW... well, I think... I’d rather watch a re-run of MASH, or Family Guy... or, just play with my dog.

I will NOT be watching tonight. If anything momentus occurs, I’m sure I’ll read about it here on FR.

I'm skipping it out of apathy.

Wouldn't count on it. Best hear the thing for yourself. Nobody else can hear it for you.

Better man than his bashbots.

I'd've agreed with you until 43 did his level best to aid and abet McCain et al in flushing our sovereignty down the dumper. Sigh.

Georgie, you’ve lost me because you ran under false pretenses, either as to the policies you would follow or as to your abilities to lead from the front.

Really? I think his positions were clear in 2000 when he was running -- which is why I didn't support him back then. He was never really overly conservative.

That said, he was handed a tough hand quite early in his term, and I've supported him ever since.

AMEN - I wonder too - I did take a sabbatical for about 8 months after the egoists put reid and peelose in power = and I have accepted invitations to a couple sites where the Staunch FREEPERS have taken refuge - but I keep hoping that FR will return to it's origins or, at least, the spoilers would be outnumbered, or - with their short attention spans, would pick up their marbles and go bother some one else.

I'm loosing hope though. It looks like FR is/has been deliberately infiltrated with malice aforethought...to diminish it's influence.
