Legal immigration: they get to stay forever.
Guest worker program: they come legally, they work legally, and then they leave.
Legal immigration: they pull themselves up the ladder of success and then they don’t do the low paying, hard labor jobs any more. So, you have to bring in more and then they stay, too.
Guest worker program: They leave.

It's called...C.O.M.P.R.O.M.I.S.E.
Have you seen any area of life where that is not necessary in some form or other at sometime or other?

Compromise is allowing them to let some of their proposals slide with gritted teeth. Proposing your own liberalized spending programs is akin to jumping the shark, IMO!

Her poor plastic surgeon. Can you imagine her walking in the door and you know there is nothing modern science can do to make that thing look any better. Must be the same guy that did Michael Jackson’s nose.

Just watched the re-run. Though the President reinforced some of his old values. About time.

Thank you for posting a
LIST OF PRESIDENT BUSH'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS
After reading some of the comments here- I have to say "My, how quickly we forget"
Say what you want about president Bush-He led the nation through a DARK time. You can't argue with that.
I will NEVER forget his 9/11 speech while standing in the rubble of the WTC, or the one at the National Cathedral, or to the Congress. He has not backed down in the WOT. God Bless him for that.
While I disagree with him on a few issues, I don't hate the man (unlike some of the posters here-sadly.)
Despite the complaints of the "Arm Chair presidents",it can't be easy to be the leader of the free world. Everyone who has held the office ages at an incredible rate- That alone should tell us something about how much stress and strain .
I am thankful to God that the past 8 years have been under George Bush's presidency, and not Gore's.
(I bet he (Bush)is looking forward to being able to go home to his ranch.)

I and my car are so greatful that we have not had to go to protest at the White House against the piece of scumb that we had in there before.

Pelosi looks like she is crying in the background when Bush talks about our sucess in the war. Just noticed that when I saw the re-run.
