This is a conservative website, not republican. If Bush strays from conservative principles he should be crititized.True, but when he does a good job he should be praised. President Bush is a mixed bag but his prosecution of the war on jihadism outside this country should be commended and never forgotten.

Amen Deb. We will not see another like him in our lifetime. History will take note of George W. Bush. There’s no need to argue with his detractors. Most of them will live to see him heralded as the great president that he is; perhaps the greatest president since Lincoln. His vision is fixed on the future where the people can’t yet see.

President Bush, Laura, and his two daughters and future son-in-law just left the White House in Presidential Motorcade to go to Congress.

I have ZERO interest in what George W Bush has to say tonight THAT's why you're on THIS thread! Counter-intuitive, isn't it.

The only thing that is going to make me panic, is if we have an Obamanation in the White House, or Hillary, which is just an a plain abomination
To: TheRobb7
I’m hoping to hear him say, “Tonight I am issuing an order to free Border Agents Ramos and Campean so they can go back to the border and continue doing the hard work that needs to be done to protect our country not only from illegal aliens, but from terrorists as well...these two heroes will also be compensated for the time they were locked up...this nation owes a debt of gratitude to these men and those like them who put their lives on the line every day so that Americans can be safe!”
A girl can dream, can’t she? *heavy sigh*

"America's immigration system is also outdated, unsuited to the needs of our economy and to the values of our country. We should not be content with laws that punish hardworking people who want only to provide for their families, and deny businesses willing workers, and invite chaos at our border. "
Same old Mexican Hat Dance.
No need for me to watch.

Every president must govern 50 years into the future.
It confuses the currently-alive, but their descendants understand what had to be done.

For me, this is my memory of President Bush:
For those you who do not know the story, the girl had lost her mom on 9/11 and he took time out of campaigning to comfort her. He asked that cameras be turned off, unlike the candidates would do today.
