McCain No Way

Posted on 01/27/2008 4:25:54 PM PST by factmart

McCain scares me more than Hillary. At least we know what she represents. A “maverick” like McCain is so off the wall and unpredictable it’s kind of like living with a lunatic - you live in constant fear and trepidation of what the lunatic might decide to do next!

I last voted democratic for Jimmy Carter in 1976, But if McCain becomes nominee of the party I will vote Democrat because McCain has hurt the conservative movement more than any other Republican. Can you image what liberals ideas would become law if he became president? At least Hillary would have the Republicans in congress fighting her and not making McCain legislation go though which could kill the conservative movement for decades.

I’m a radical conservative but if McCain wins say goodbye to the Conservative movement for decades. Plus the politicians who back that phony would increase.

IF McCain wins the nomination it’s not as bad as winning the Presidency. Go Dem’s Win. The rino's will once again go back in their little closets where they have been hiding for 25 years and 5 years from now the conservatives will have The White house back plus congress.
McCain has hurt the conservative movement more than any other Republican.

Also I would rather fight My enemies than Republicans.

Good thing you didn’t add this to an existing thread. It is really so important it deserves it’s own vanity.

McCain is not worse than Hillary. Rudy IS worse than Hillary, but McCain is a big improvement on both of them.

If McCain gets the nod it will be an easy year for me. I’ve been pounding the pavement for Republicans since 1993. I won’t waste the hours or the shoes for someone who has been poking me in the eyr for nearly a decade.

You have to help the Dem's win if McCain get nomination, McCain might win if you vote for Paul or don,t vote as all.

I would rather have the 1st women president than the first Republican voted in by Democrats.

McCain is crazy, I will not vote for him. I will either write in Fred or skip the Presidential ballot. In my state (MD) it doesn’t much matter as it’ll go Dhim (legally or illegally) without question.

A “maverick” like McCain is so off the wall...

Off the wall? McNuts is off the hook, unhinged, elevator doesn't go to the top floor, hamburger short of a Happy Meal, etc. The guy is psychologically unbalanced.

Hillary represents the Democrat status quo, while McCain would represent a Republican move to the left. Hillary is actually better for America and the Republican party than McCain.

How sad is it that we have arrived where such a choice is possible?

Someday, say 75-80 years from now, you’ll be sorry you said that. History will prove you wrong.

McCain would be the worst. A disaster as President, a Republican signing every tax increase, amnesty, regulation, and idiocy the Democrats in Congress send him. And Republicans would take the blame.

No way should this crabby, doddering Mr. Burns be the face of the Republican party. Better a disastrous Hillary Clinton, so the Democrats will take the rap, and Republicanism rise again.
