I don’t know anything about Josh Brolin’s politics, but he sure is a heckuva fine actor.
Stone’s World Trade Center movie was quite good, and a box-office success.

Read the December GQ magazine (borrow at the library) and you’ll find out.
here’s a hint: his dad is married to Streisand.
They have a movie “Hillary” out but I hear they won’t let it in the theaters because it is an election movie.
I guess what we need is a movie “Carter”. I didn’t remember Carter’s slogan but I saw it was something like “Time for a Change”.
Remarkably like the candidate’s slogan today. And look at the change they got with Carter. I would argue that much of the problems we have today are from Carter.
First the crap Nixon movie, now the crap Bush movie.
funny that, as Timmy Sarandon-Robbins...errrr Timmy Robbins-Sarandon’s ego and chin grow his stature shrinks. In the “family unit” and in general.
I know about his father’s politics, but sometimes the next generation rejects the folly of its elders...
guantanamo will reopen as a resort to re-educate right wingers, christians, and gun owners
I thought that World Trade Center was very good as well. It seems like Stone likes to do the opposite of what is expected of him sometimes. Maybe this will be ok.
Oliver Stone to make "fair" movie about George W. Bush
From the article

In 2002, he shot a flattering documentary about Cuban leader Fidel Castro for HBO

Hmmm...
All the problems our nation faces today are the fault of Carter and Clinton.
Can you imagine what the reaction would be if someone made a move critical of Roosevelt during WWII? But today leftist fascists like Stone can do or say anything against our wartime President. This is intolerable and this film Must Be Stopped. If this was WWII, Stone would be arrested and imprisoned for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Can’t something like that be done today?
Thanks for the ping nit!
I saw it thia am. If you really want to enjoy it, rent it, and turn on the commentary. It is with the actual rescued cop and several first responders who were there that day. They talk about the heroism of the people you see flitting in and out of the picture.
“think the Clinton impeachment would make a better movie”
Definitely - tawdriness sells movie tickets
Thanks. I might do that.
"That wasn't the real Jim Morrison in the movie. That was Oliver Stone in leather pants."Ray Manzarek.
