ust minutes ago, District Court Judge James Mahan rejected the lawsuit that contested the nine at-large Strip caucus sites.
He cited case law that recognizes the parties have the right to determine how to apportion delegates.
Attorney Mark Ferrario for the state teachers union and five party activists who brought the lawsuit said he didnt know whether they would appeal, but probably not.
Great video! He is one angry SOB.
Drudge has had it posted all day.
I think thing must be pretty bad in their internal polling if even Bill is starting to lose it. It looks like Obama will win Arizona, although nothing is a given in this bizarre primary season, and Obama is looking to win South Carolina by double digits. That means, in all likelihood, Obama will be going into super Tuesday with the Big MO behind him.
The Clinton "Magic" seems to have turned into a curse for Hillary. They just don't seem to realize that in this day of instant news and analysis, and blogs, the same dirty tactics they used in the early 1990's no longer work and quickly backfire. They have managed to alienate blacks and unions in the last couple weeks. It also doesn't help that Hillary has the Charm of a Dung Beetle and the speaking voice to match.
Of course the guy is certifiable - sexual predator, sociopathic tendencies, compulsive narcissism disorder, delusions of grandeur - he makes Ted Bundy look stable.
The fat unathletic goofy kid who everyone made fun of, the alcoholic mommy, the absent father, the step-daddy that beat up mommy.. Textbook disaster waiting to happen
“I love it that this rule was pushed through by the Clinton controlled state democratic committee when she expected to walk to her nomination on rose petals.”
You’re 100% correct. This strategy was worked out between the campaigns, and agreed to by the campaigns. Hillary’s arrogance is galling, and it’s delightful to see her suffering the unintended consequences.
That said, this rule is actually a travesty - making it so that only casino workers have the option of voting where they work and everyone else in the state has to drive to the precinct where they live at exactly 11:30. This lawsuit shouldn’t have attempted to shut down those at-large precincts, but give every voter that same opportunity. In that we see not only why it failed, but what its real purpose was.
I am still trying the find the 200K vets sleeping on grates and under bridges.
I heard Neal also and I probably should have dismounted the elliptical training machine I was on at the time. I almost fell off laughing at that whole segment. It sounded like he was really getting as many digs in as he could and he did not care what his guest was there to say.
I think the Pubbies need to file this one away for the General Election and point out the move by these crooks to suppress the vote or at least every voters caucused vote. I thought EVERY VOTE SHOULD COUNT! Boy, ask Dino Rossi here in Wash. State how much the Dems cried that out a couple of years ago!
"I HEARD that, Mother!"
“It also doesn’t help that Hillary has the Charm of a Dung Beetle and the speaking voice to match.”
that is an insult to dung beetles..
I hadn’t noticed Clintoon’s appearance in a long while. WOW is he ever aging badly! A real W.C.Fields doppelganger.
ROFL! (*yikes!*)
“So what is so unique about these casino workers that provisions are made so they can vote at their place of employment?”
The fact that the Caterer’s Union, which a LOT of casino workers belong to, endorsed Obama.
His royal symbolness.
Again?
I'm starting to believe that they lack conviction toward our system because of their snookering around. ; ) /s
The Clinton's to a tee! : )
Yep, this is a new age and today people are just sick and tired of their tricks, deceits, crying and whining, finger pointing, and eye-buldging. The threats and manipulations of the media, their associates, and even their supporters that worked in the past, is not working anymore. They are no longer the "charmed" ones. The Clintons are passe, boring, boorish and utterly out-of-step.
Apologies to DFU,
Sung to the tune by the artist formerly known as ..
I never planned to buy her flowers
I never even asked her age
I only wanted just one thing
And now I see you laughing at my purple rage
Purple rage purple rage
Purple rage purple rage
Purple rage purple rage
I only want you all to stop laughing at my purple rage
I never wanted to be just a two-term brother
I only want this party not to end
Hill and I are both hopein to steal another
But I get the feeling its about to end
Purple rage purple rage
Purple rage purple rage
Purple rage purple rage
