Well, with McCain you will get another Souter. After all, McCain orchestrated the gang of fourteen, which allowed the leftists to block conservative judiciary nominees.

As I type, one third of the judge positions on the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals remain vacant and a lot of the credit goes to McCain.

Don’t forget, Souter was strongly recommended by McVain’s good buddy Senator and fellow RINO Rudman. In a choice between Souter and Ginsberg, the only conservative choice is third party.

“a lot of the credit goes to McCain.”

What do you mean? You need to be corrected!

ALL THE CREDIT goes to McCain with his blocking of appointments, not just a lot. He was the Gang Leader of the 14 Gangsters.

You should ask the Sidebar Moderator if this can be in the breaking-news sidebar?

I think it should but...

McCain - Supports amnesty (no matter what he calls it) Romeny - Doesn’t.

Romney -- still, to this day -- both supports and opposes amnesty.

Personally, if I were philosopher king and could ensure that immigration laws would be enforced going forward and the border closed, I would allow some illegal immigrants to progress toward citizenship (as both McCain and Romney have said, at times). But I am not so naive as to think that enforcement of immigration law and border security is a great likelihood in the near future.

In 1976 Ronald Reagan didn't win a primary until NC in March.

Reagan came into the 1976 North Carolina primary having lost the first five consecutive primaries to Ford. The national party establishment was against Reagan, the media started to write him off, and his campaign was broke and in debt. Needless to say, the pressure to drop out of the race was nearly overwhelming. (From powerblog)

He went on to fight for the nomination on the Convention floor. He eventually lost to Gerald Ford who lost to Jimmah Carter-Chavez

1) You don’t quit this early, some things are worth fighting for, principle is worth fighting for.

2) Conventional wisdom gave us Ford as a candidate, gave us Dole as a candidate, conventional wisdom sucks sometimes.

Mark Levin is a great 'get' for Romney.

Mitt also has received supportive promoting comments from Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Coulter, Bork, and dozens of other respectible conservative writers thinkers and analysts

Mark Levin’s support for Romney should count quite a bit with conservatives.

Add Laura Ingraham to the rest of that list too.

Totally agree. McCain needs to lose tonight. A strong Romney win would be a blow to him. Let’s stop him in Michigan, then we can turn to NV, SC, etc.

I can’t believe I’m seeing a liberal who is shilling for MccAin and or Huckabee on FreeRepublic.

I thought this was a conservative site.

Do you know you are helping McCain by unfairly attacking his opposition?

What do you like about McCAin? That McCAin took away our right to freedom of speech in America. Do you know that Hillary or McC Ain will use McCAin-Feingold to ban sites like FreeRepublic and radio shows like Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin?

What else do you like about MccAin? that McCain has tried to give Amnesty to 30 million illegals and their families back in the 3rd world, several times? How do you think 100 million, illiterate,3rd world, ignorant socialist Democrat voters will affect America ? These 100 million illegal immigrants along with the socialist Democrats will Destroy the United States by turning it into a third world socialist hell hole that will make Venezuela seem like a paradise.

I hope you are proud of working for this, the destruction of our way of life and of the greatest civilization ever in the history of mankind, The United States of America.

The Deroit Free Press is reporting low turnout in the Detroit area. In other areas of the state turnout is reported higher.

Mitt is toast!

Mitt - Claims his sons are serving their country -- by working on his campaign.

Sounds egotistical; however, if he beats Hillary, it would sound prescient.

McCain - Served his country

How? By crashing planes, or by giving the cong all the classified information he could? Maybe by voting against the tax cuts that saved our economy? Maybe by restricting our free speech by introducing McCain Feingold? Or was it by his insistence on opening our borders to any illegal who wants to come in? Yes he sure has our served our country, but in a very negative way."

Great post. Concise and to the point and it exposes McCain for the rabid Marxist anti-American liberal he is.
