Ron Paul may very well go third party but he is spending his money. I should know, I get glossy mailings and phone calls from his campaign all the time.

Hugh Hewitt just said that McCain and Huckabee have left Michigan - no pleasant concession speeches tonight after Romney is declared the winner.

Not very classy!

Thanks for graciously defending McCain’s service. Very well done.

I may not agree with the man on many things, but he has my gratitude and unending admiration for his service.

c,
I disagree. Even if McCain were to win and I don’t believe
he will in Michigan...

It’s wide open now and will be until after Super Tuesday,
at least.

Everyone around here continues to underestimate Huckabee.
He is the danger.

If that’s true, it doesn’t look very civilized.

You comment about 2 out of 25 led me to believe it was a rhetorical question: What % of Americans actually serve?

2 of 25 is so low, and 0 of 6 is so low.

It is an indictment of America that they will allow others to sacrifice blood for them without a strong push for their own to share in the labor of freedom.

The nation is not worthy of the sacrifice of the few dedicated ones.

And The First Exit Polls in Michigan Say...

I’m surprised no one else has put this up yet. I’m hearing the first round of exit polls have Romney 35, McCain 29, Huckabee 15, Ron Paul 10, Giuliani 4. This doesn’t count absentee ballots.

If this holds, the networks will be able to announce shortly after 9 p.m. eastern time...

Of course, all the standard disclaimers apply, and the later voters may differ from the early rounds, and the polls are still open, so if you’re a Michigander, go out and vote for your favorite.

I have no idea what you are frothing about, and I never said anything about Levin’s assessment of Romney.

His comments over the past weeks clearly show he supports Fred.

He recently urged MI voters to vote for Romney in order to stop McCain. I’m guessing Mark figures MI isn’t a good state for Fred being an open primary state and Mark really wants to derail McCain.

Once this primary is over I bet Mark starts pushing Fred in SC and other states where real conservatives will actually decide the primary.

a Huck win in Iowa, a McCain win in New Hampshire, a Mitt win in Michigan, and a chance of a Fred win in South Carolina and a Rudy win in Florida. Can you say chaos?

What happened to Romney winning WY? IIRC, they actually have number of delegates comparable to that of NH.

“I voted for the catcher’s Mitt today. Of the 14 people friends and family that I have talked to 13 are voting for the Mitt. The only Huck vote came from my sister, but she did not know that he was a republican Jimmah Cahtah. With this information it would have been another Mitt vote.”

Good for you!

A lot of young people are getting fooled by Huck’s campaign. We need to spread the word on the real Huckabee:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1953093/posts?page=361#290
1) Governor Huckabee did lasting damage to the Republican Party and conservative movement in Arkansas.
2) Governor Huckabee’s non-stop clemencies continually hindered the work of criminal prosecutors and miffed Republicans. The numbers are staggering - over 1,000 clemencies and commutations of criminals as governor.
3) Governor Huckabee’s pattern was to ignore immigration laws, often in the name of Christianity.
4) Governor Huckabee was no friend to fiscal conservatives in Arkansas.
5) Huckabee left a long trail of ethics questions while Governor of Arkansas
6) Huckabee’s education record shows him to be an advocate of the “status quo” - got NEA endorsement, anti-vouchers
7) Huckabee has very little support for his Presidential bid here in Arkansas - For the most part those in his party who know him best are not supporting him.

McCain is also serving the country of Aztlan! Too many of us un the southwest are familiar with his “politics”
He is a senile RINO with other people on FR seeing and noting the same.

I voted the person that has the best consistant conservative message.

At least its a vote I can be proud of. If I voted for Romney, I wouldn’t be true to myself.

It would be nice if Huck didn't break 15% statewide. If he doesn't, he gets no delegates.
