Kansas GOP Caucus ^ | January 10, 2008

Topeka, KS — The Kansas Republican Presidential Caucus field is now complete with 7 candidates for President of the United States appearing on the Kansas ballot February 9, 2008.

Kansas GOP Chairman Kris Kobach said: “I’m pleased to see so many respected candidates for President have decided to devote their resources and attention to the Kansas Republican Caucus. From important leaders in Congress to respected former Governors, the GOP field is a strong one.

“With Kansas being the first contest following ‘Super Tuesday’ and with different winners of each of the first three Presidential contests in Iowa, Wyoming and New Hampshire, each candidate is realizing the importance of their participation in a strong Republican state like Kansas. I look forward to working with each campaign in the coming weeks and encourage every Kansan to get involved with a campaign and help support the next Republican President of the United States.”

The KS GOP Caucus will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008. In order to participate in the caucus, participants must be registered as a Republican by January 25, 2008 and must provide a photo ID at the caucus location. For more information about the caucus visit www.ksgopcaucus.org.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee

I’m guessing Hunter throws in the towel either right before SC and makes an endorsement, or more likely right after.

I’d prefer before, but I’m guessing he wants to see how the guy he’d support will do first.

If he endorses anyone but Fred I’d be real surprised.

Looks like Hunter is on the Texas ballot, along with Tran, Cort, Keyes, and a handful of other guys. Cox didn’t make the Texas ballot.

Does look like I’ll have to vote in the Republican race - Dennis doesn’t appear to be on the Democrat list for Texas.

I’m not sure what Hunter is up to.

What’s so special about that day?

I don’t see why he’d have to endorse anyone. Frankly, I hope he doesn’t as they are all pathetic. And stop with the Fred is a great conservative cr**. It’s not saying much with the rest of the field. But his main point of attraction with ‘electability’ is nothing but a myth because he will not win a general election.

Hahahah. On another thread, 2cavtrooper and wideawake are calling me a Paultard and a Fred hater. BTW I agree with you though I think he might do it anyway. Some of Hunter's socon tendencies disappoint me - especially his weird bill about regulating porn on the internet and it's reporting requirements. Why not let parents do itif he believes in dindividual liberty and personal responsibility? Hunter has some nanny state tendencies and so does Fred. We need to clog the courts with 'indecency' cases'? Meh.

Maybe Hunter can endorse Paul. I said that because I didn't want to disappoint 2cav and wideawake, and so I can continue my record of pissing everyone off. ;)

And just yesterday 2cav said I have no sense of humor? It's just over your head, 2cav! ;) Not to mention dry and black like burnt toast.

Yep Dennis lost his court action Friday. His attorney said they may appeal but he’d have to talk to Dennis to find out. Lawyer looking for more money..

“And just yesterday 2cav said I have no sense of humor?”

That’s an outright lie since I said no such thing.
