This appears to be Coughlin's paper that has caused the ruckus and got him fired by England's special assistant. (as discussed in numerous previous threads)

He castigates the "Underlying causes" model of interpreting the enemies' grievances. Which of course is the model the left would have us believe.
He also identifies that Al-Queda and their fellow travellers do not materially differ from the authentic teaching of Islam. They are not extremists when they call for destruction of our lives, property and way of life. They are completely orthodox muslims.

This is not a good move by our government! How stupid! Talk about cutting off your nose to suit your face...it probably has more to do with the fact that no one wants to be compelled to do what the hard tasks will require us to do, so just shoot the messenger and go on as if there is no danger! I am really angry! This puts our military in even more harms’ way!

I have always maintained on FR it was a religiously driven war.
I took some flack after 9-11 for smearing Islam.
"What are you going to do Capt. Tom smear Christians for what Timothy McVeigh did?"
I had to fight back with the fact I had read the New Testament and the Koran and didn't find anything in the NT exhorting Timothy Mc Veigh to kill people but found all kinds of passages in the Koran encouraging Muslims to kill us Infidels.
The fundamental Muslims are willing to put their lives on the line to follow the religion as written in their Koran and Hadiths.
They don't do it for country, family, or grievances, or jealousy; they do it for their God, and an eternal reward.- Tom
