4,000 PA "security men" will provide security for U.S. President George Bush's visit to Ramallah Thursday. The PA gunmen will spread out in the roads leading to the place where Bush and PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas will meet.
The commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brig. Gen. Noam Tibon, and the head of the Civilian Administration, Brig. Gen. Yoav ("Poli") Mordechai, met with the heads of the PA "security" apparatuses in Judea and Samaria. PA sources said that the meeting dealt with arrangements for President Bush's visit to the PA Thursday.
The meeting between the Israeli and PA officials was held in Ramallah. It was the first time in seven years such a meeting was held in Ramallah.

Pray....
Pray hard and long for the security of your President. But never ever when he said "you are either with us or gainst us" did I imagine.....

That title made me look hard - I thought it said, “4,000 Pennsylvania Gunmen” - that’s a lot of deer hunters!

I wonder if the only thing keeping a group of them from killing Bush is the thought that Cheney might nuke the hell out of them within the hour.
To: Old Sarge
And even with all those deer hunters on the loose he would have been so much safer....

4,000 PA "security men" will provide security for U.S. President George Bush's visit to Ramallah Thursday. Now that's a real encouraging piece of news. How many of the 4,000 are complete fanatical nutjobs, just itching to kill the leader of the Great Satan?

That title made me look hard - I thought it said, 4,000 Pennsylvania Gunmen - thats a lot of deer hunters! I'd feel a lot better if he was being guarded by 4,000 Pennsylvania deer hunters. Every one of them former military and with a scoped "sniper rifle".

Great, so now we have to send 12,000 U.S. Troops, three to watch each of the 4000 PA gunmen.

I wonder if the only thing keeping a group of them from killing Bush is the thought that Cheney might nuke the hell out of them within the hour. A lot of them are loose cannons, they might not care. Just think of the high class virgins they'd be expecting for killing the Great Satan? I mean whats a million more martyrs to Allah, give or take a few hundred thousand?

Inmates running the asylum bump.

If they’re wise, they won’t even think about promoting Dick Cheney to the Presidency. I’ll bet his idea of a Palestinian state is Jordan.

I have a feeling the Israelis aren’t gonna let the PA handle this solo.

Ill bet his idea of a Palestinian state is Jordan. It is - or maybe it was Rummy who said that.
In any case Cheney would make a fantastic President but I would like to see him elected - definitely not promoted.

SS probably isn’t going to let the pallies handle this solo.

Reminds me of the King of Sparta basically daring the Persians to kill him, they did of course, but he knew his death would unite Greece against the Persians...It was a good death...
Hopefully Bush’s security will be good...though...it would be nice if he had 300 Spartans with him...

No 5.56 there, .30 cal and way above. A .50 cal maxi out of a black powder rifle comes to mind for the survivors.
