He probably going to publically denounce some of his more kookish supporters for claiming that Romney was a member of NAMBLA.
To: Greg F
I hope he’s using it to drum up media coverage.

Guessing this could be good news for Fred. (Not that Hunter has many voters to give him, but heh, every bit counts.)

Alas, I suspect that he really is bailing out.
Not surprising - whoever he had running his campaign was an *idiot*.

Sure hope so. If the DAMN DEM Press would be nice and mention Fred’s name once in a while, it would help.

Don’t worry, that was the Massachussets Romney, not the Presidential Candidate Romney.
To: Greg F
Sometimes these kinds of announcements are made to say that the candidate is NOT dropping out just to get a little news coverage. I’d be surprised if Hunter did that.

He wants to announce that Romney copied his position on border security/amnesty almost word for word in the debate last night (the one that Duncan was excluded from)?

The media has not been kind to Hunter or Thompson either. So sad to see him go if that is the announcement and I assume it is...but if he endorses Fred on his way out that would be helpful.
