A Church of England bishop has said Islamic extremism has turned some communities into no-go areas for people of a different faith or race.
The Bishop of Rochester, the Right Reverend Dr. Michael Nasir-Ali, said non-Muslims may find it difficult to live or work in some places.
He said there was "hostility" in those areas and described the government's multicultural policies as divisive.
Muslims and some politicians have accused the bishop of scaremongering.
But other politicians agreed with the bishop-saying he had highlighted a real problem.
"Christian cause"
Writing in the Sunday Telegraph, Dr. Nasir-Ali said there had been a worldwide resurgence of Islamic extremism, leading to young people growing up alienated from the country they live in.
It had also turned "already separate communities into 'no-go' areas."
He said there had been attempts to "impose an 'Islamic' character on certain areas," for example, by amplifying the call to prayer from mosques.....
Dr. Nasir-Ali warned of a multi-faith "mish-mash" as the government promotes its integration policy. He said it was "an agenda which still lacks the underpinning of a moral and spiritural vision".....

This story says something.
I thought "multiculuralism" had something to do with accepting different people.
Its really about intolerance and division as the bishop points out.
Islamofascism and the liberal-left that enables it.
Multi-culti only works one way. Christians and the secular West must embrace all other cultures no matter how bizarre or destructive.
In areas where Western values are openly trashed, multiculturalism requires ignoring such violations.
That’s how it works, get used to it.

The Brits are allowing this because they have become corrupt and soft. They no longer believe in God and the message of Christ, they no longer see anything worth fighting for.
They know nothing but appeasement. Chamberlain was merely the first; their culture is shot.
Ours soon will be.
Better treat those cities as we did Fallujah and conduct a surge. They’re gonna have to sooner or later, so why not sooner?
Unfortunately they paid no mind to Churchill's warnings on Islamists. He likened them to dogs with hydrophobia. Churchill survived the thick of battle in the late 1800's in many foreign lands. He greatly admired many of those cultures which in turn had a great loyalty to the Brits. Those places where Muhamadism was present were exceptions.
We’re not just heading that way, we are there in many places in America. In places where the Catholic bishops have run their experiment in destroying American culture by importing Somalis and handing the bill to local taxpayers, public officials are now threatening criminal prosecutions of people who dare speak out against Mohammed or Mohammedanism. They call it a “hate crime”. Among the biggest supporters of this Nazi-like tactic are members of the Roman Catholic hierarchy and clergy.

The British politicans, for unknown to me reasons, have sold the British people down the river.
This is just the early seeds that are noe sprouting up. The main harvest will happen later.
The same thing has happened in or to the United States.
The American politicans have sold the American people for, in my opinion, perceived personal gain and power, down the river. The American harvest will begin, in my opinion, in January ‘09 Should the Democrats win the election in ‘08. If the Republicans win it will be delayed for a while.
Watch those “standard of living” figures. You’ll like it there if you’re willing to have small cars, drive on roads where big brother watches constantly, live in a flat about the size of your living room,pay around $5/gallon for gas, have health care which is only slightly better than a joke, and put up with paying for liberal television. (The Brits are great people, but I cannot understand why they put up with a lot of things....Muslims in particular.) Oh, forgot about dental care - fuggetabowdit.
Well, the hostility certainly can't be coming from the people of the Religion of Peace!

You just knew there would be a liberal shilling for the “religion of peace” in there somewhere. And the denials by an imam too.

The "peaceful, mainstream" Muslim doesn't throw the bomb but will do nothing to restrain or condemn his bomb-throwing neighbor. There is no organized opposition to radicalism within this group. They don't like this country, its institutions, its history, or its non-Muslim population; and they are very, very arrogant.
I wish I had a solution for this problem, but the first step is not to waste a minute listening to liberal happy talk about these invaders. Their intentions for our country are quite serious, and we must take them seriously.
G_d help us, our rulers have handed our children quite a mess.
