The most ignored stories of 2007 (5. California bill introducing homosexuality to young children)

5) California bill introducing homosexuality to young children: Children as young as two years of age are in the bull's-eye of coming changes in California's school curriculum, which "gay rights" advocates now admit will alter the very foundation of information presented to public school classrooms.

Opponents of a new state law that bars "discriminatory bias" in public schools because of a "characteristic," including "perceived gender," argued before its passage that it would foster a pro-homosexual bias that would eliminate references to "mom" and "dad" or "husband" and "wife."

Supporters steadfastly maintained the bill only clarified anti-discrimination laws already on the books. But, already, demands by homosexual advocacy groups such as Equality California indicate the new law actually paves the way for editing of all school curricula in the state.

A list of school resources, sponsored by a homosexual-advocacy group called Safe Schools Coalition, suggests "Felicia's Favorite Story," which tells how a girl was "adopted by her two mothers." It also promotes a book called "Are You a Girl or a Boy?" for children ages 4-8 that advocates homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism and other lifestyles. Other resources promoted in the wake of California's new law include books authored by officials with Planned Parenthood and the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network.

One book, called "Tackling Gay Issues in School," is for kindergarten through grade 12, and features recommended "extracurricular" activities for classes.

WND also reported how thousands of requests for information about homeschooling organizations and Christian schools have been bombarded with requests for information.

A grass-roots advocacy group is working on a referendum and the non-profit Advocates for Faith and Freedom is filing a lawsuit challenging the law.

Joseph Farah "gets it"! He understands that there is a cultural war between those who want to preserve Western Civilization and the Marxists who want it destroyed. He also understands that our nation's schools are among the Marxist's most important weapons against freedom.

Joseph Farah also understands the solution: Get your children out. Work to shut down government schooling.

Joseph Farah understands that if we don't get kids out and shut these schools down, those who hate the Judeo Christian values and ethics upon which freedom is built will win in the voting booth.

What happens in California schools effects schooling throughout the nation. Publishers respond by changing textbooks, and schools in other states adopt new policies. ( Yesterday, there was an article about a 10 year old boy using the girls restroom in his government school.)

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Bill OReilly don't "get it". These three rarely identify the enemy for what it truly is: Marxism!

Rush rarely covers school issues. Possibly this is because he has never been a parent and doesn't feel comfortable with school topics.

Sean Hannity and Bill OReilly do cover the nuttiness in the schools, but, to my knowledge, have never identified the cause: The Marxist's profound hatred for all things based on the universal Judeo Christian principles that make all freedom possible.

Neither, Sean or Bill, to my knowlege, have ever identified the only rational solution: 1) Get you own kids out. 2) Work to shut government schooling down. It can NOT be reformed!

To Christian teachers:

Christian teachers now only have 2 choices:

1) They can protest, resist, and **refuse** to cooperate with all attacks against Judeo Christian princples that their Marxist or Useful Idiot supervisors and fellow teachers introduce in their government schools. In other words, they will be fired.

Or...

2) They can quit.

If they do anything less than the above, they are teaching, by their example, very powerful lessons to their students.

If they try to go along, they are teaching their students that Christians will sell their Christian principles for money.

If they try to go along with the program in an attempt to sneak in a few grains of salt or a glimmer of light to their students, then they are teaching their students that Christian are sneaky and sly.

If they tell their students that they don't believe in these school policies and textbook and curriculum policies but will give it to the students and cooperate with it anyway, then they are teaching the students that Christians will feed lies to the students that they KNOW are wrong. The students will conclude that Christians are evil!

If the Christian teachers cooperate with the government school program, surely the students will see that Christian principles do not align with the government school policies and curriculum. The students will rightly conclude that his so-called Christian teacher is stupid, or doesn't care ( lukewarm) about his beliefs.

By cooperating with, by not protesting vigorously, by aiding and abetting an organization that is deliberately and actively chewing away at our Judeo Christian foundation, yes, Christian teachers are teaching a powerful lesson. They are teaching the students that Christians are lukewarm, fence sitting, stupid, evil, timid, weak, sly, and sneaky, and will sell their souls for a pay check and a pension.

So?...Later when these kids meet a real Christian missionary, will the true Christian missionary's job be harder or easier?

California is a liberal run godless communist state dedicated to the childrens destruction, most of the parents there are high on sexual deviant behaviors as a new age (Sodom and Gomorah like) way to be happy, don’t you know.

This law has already been the subject of several articles which have been pinged to the education list, and wintertime, you’ve already posted the same cut-and-paste screed on several threads.

I’m inclined to think that everyone on the list who’s interested in the subject has already seen it, regardless of the fact that Farah seems to think it’s been ignored.

If Gabz or SoftballMominVA disagree with me, they are welcome to ping the list.

Neal Boortz understands that government schools have an agenda. He does not state that they are Marxist but a blend of left do-gooders.

Unfortunately, California oozes out. It’s like watching an ameobe under a microscope. It surrounds other objects, incorporates them, and then digests them.

The Marxists who hate the very essence of freedom ( our Judeo Christian values) are hard at work in our government schools.

So...what are Rush, Sean Hannity, and Bill ORielly doing? Missing the mark of course, while these Marxists and Useful idiots indoctrinate the next generation of voters.

What are Christian teachers in these schools doing? Are they organizing protests, are they resisting, are they refusing to cooperate?

Isn’t it time we called the enemy what it is: Marxism?

Isn’t it time we identified the Marxist’s most important weapon: Our government k-12 schools, colleges, and universities?

Amelia

The point here is that Joseph Farah has listed this California government school story as one of his Top Ten stories of the year!

This story has this much significance for our nation, our culture, and the freedom of this nation. This man obviously "gets it"!

Whether you choose to notify the others really doesn't matter.

I don't know why you didn't post all 10 of them, or at least the top 5...

These are the stories that Joseph Farah of World Net Daily considers the most ignored: ( sorry, my error, I posted “important”.)

I find it very significant that Joseph Farah would consider homosexuality in California schools to be important enough to include in this list.

1. Developments moving U.S. and continent closer to a North American Union:

2. Bush’s refusal to pardon imprisoned Border Patrol Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, who were prosecuted by the president’s friend, U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton:

3. Research refuting man-made global warming:

4. Lack of action on border fence mandated by Congress:

5. California bill introducing homosexuality to young children:

I believe that Farah is referring to the media reports in general, not just to conservative threads like this one.

I understand that, but I was referring to FReepers in particular.

Amelia, with a readership the size of World Net Daily, it really doesn’t matter who you ping or don’t ping.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. If you want on/off this list, please freepmail me. The main Homeschool Ping List by DaveLoneRanger handles the homeschool-specific articles. This is becoming a fairly high volume list.

I believe that I pinged this topic, too, but cannot find it so here goes again.
