German Minister Herrmann 'I want to deport him back to Turkey' (immigrant "youths" beat elderly man)

He asked them to stop smoking in Munich's subway station. They brutally beat up the 76- year-old pensioner. Last Thursday, the 20-year-old Turk Serkan A. and his Greek friend Spiridon L. admitted that they critically wounded the former schoolmaster Bruno N. and offended him by calling him: “Crap German.”

When the victim was lying motionless on the floor, the two took the old man's rucksack and quickly fled. The victim suffered a triple fractured skull with dangerous brain bleeding. At first, his life was in jeopardy, but his physical condition is stable now. The motive: “Why was he so stupid to talk to us? He must have seen that we were drunk and thus, it was normal that we became aggressive.” No repentance at all!

Before the Turk and his Greek friend attacked the pensioner Bruno, they met up with another not-so-close friend and consumed drugs and alcohol together. Spiridon stole his cell phone, called another friend and said: “Now you will witness when I kill a f… German.” The numerous calls that they made with this stolen cell phone enabled the German police to track them down last week. They are both well-known among Munich's policemen; Serkan had already committed 39 crimes and Spiridon had committed 23 crimes before this incident. They were immediately arrested.

Metro- Scrappers and Migration Experts

The German public and politicians are shocked by the inhumanity and hostility displayed by the two young men and therefore a new debate about difficulties faced by many young foreigners while integrating in Germany has flared up. The newspapers call Serkan and Spiridon “ Metro- Scrappers,” German TV channels invite dozens of different migration experts in order to discuss the rising violence among non- German and especially Turkish teens.

This tense situation puts considerable pressure on the German political elite. On the one hand, they slowly notice that this is a new form of racism within our own borders. “When a foreign teen beats up a German, then it is also racist just as it is when it is the other way around,” a minister of the CDU (Christian Democratic Party), Kristina Köhler, told daily newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine. On the other hand, they recommend harsh consequences for the two youth in order to “re-establish” the necessary protection for German society. Accordingly, the Bavarian Minister Joachim Herrmann told the German Bild paper: “When we have the judicial opportunity, we will deport the Turkish citizen back to his home country. As the other man is a EU- citizen, we do not have any chance of doing so, but if we could, we would try the same.” Many Germans indirectly applaud Herrmann for this radical claim: “Foreign criminals have nothing to do in our country of law and order. We have to pay taxes for them, when they are in jail, we have to suffer for their crimes and we do not feel safe anymore in our own country. That is absolutely unfair and incorrect,” a woman in her mid- 50s said to the magazine Stern.

Irresponsible and disloyal

A possible deportation will have considerable consequences for Serkan. As he grew up in the Bavarian capital Munich, he just knows Turkey from holidays during his childhood and he does not speak Turkish properly. Although his roots might be in Turkey, his home is obviously in Germany. Thus, a countermovement to Herrmann`s immoderate demand has emerged. A social pedagogue, who wished to remain anonymous told the Turkish Daily News: “Instead of vigorously deporting foreign citizens to their ‘home countries,' the politicians should set up improved integration policies and facilities, especially for Turkish migrants. Around 72 percent of Turks in Germany do not have any educational qualifications and thus, unemployment is a widespread problem among them. I could cite a couple of other examples, but it does not change the result that especially Turkish teens are often excluded and rejected by our society and this obviously evokes aggression. Serkan is one of them.” However, she also emphasized that this background is no excuse for any crime and said, “it is still no solution to deport him to Turkey, where he will continue his criminal career. We cannot simply transfer this problem to another nation; that is absolutely irresponsible and disloyal.”

"20-year-old Turk Serkan A. and his Greek friend Spiridon L." Normally, Greeks and Turks get along like fire and water, but loyalty to fellow thugs seems to trump ethnicity. Isn't multiculturalism wonderful?

” they where thugs - “

Yes, they were — but I’ve been tempted, myself, on occasion, when confronted by a self-righteous, self-appointed smoke-nazi...... ;~)

Last I heard, Turkish prisons were better at keeping lower recidivism rates than German prisons.

Why not? He is a citizen of Turkey. He is a public menace. The officials of Germany’s first loyalty is to the safety of its citizens and this immigrant has displayed repeatedly that he is a threat to the safety of the German citizens he comes in to contact with.

It would be irresponsible not to deport this thug at the earliest opportunity. This thug has committed 39 previous crimes. It is irresponsible that he has not already been deported.

This woman sums it up nicely.

I guess this guy doesn't fall for what Black and Hispanic leaders say in America.

It seems that a majority of those black leaders are blatant racist pigs. Some Hispanic leaders are, but I think that most are not.

I have never heard of a black or hispanic sticking up for a white victim.

Maybe the black and hispanic racists are not really the leaders, just that they are the ones hired by the media and their statements are the statements published by the media.

There's the real problem. The "debate" (just like in this country) is controlled by the Libs, and they naturally attempt to blame the victim to avoid any discussion of the real problem which is their protected victim classes of immigrants. Therefore the while public "debate" that takes place in the press is carefully structured to avoid any mention of the policies that lead to such attitudes and (more importantly) the Libs responsibility for creating the situation in the first place.

I can attest from personal experience that the discussions that takes place between most Germans, at least the ones I have talked to, does not look or sound anything like what you read in the press. As in this country, their Lib media will have to be starved and utterly destroyed if they are to ever solve any problems for real.

“As the other man is a EU- citizen, we do not have any chance of doing so, but if we could, we would try the same”

Why can’t they also deport the Greek guy back to Greece? Is it not possible to deport from one EU nation to another, and just revoke the EU passport, or bar entry to a specific nation?

The difference is, we Germans do that only when we get an order through the proper chain of command ;-)

Send the lad back to Turkey. If he cannot appreciate living in Germany, then let him rejoin his heritage where they will have no qualms about knocking some sense into him. Unlike the Germans of today, the Turks can be very persuasive to criminals.

And on another point I see this silly sentence. "Around 72 percent of Turks in Germany do not have any educational qualifications and thus, unemployment is a widespread problem among them."

The onus to learn the language, customs, and other matters about a new country is on the immigrant. I'm presently in Germany, and I know Turks who have adjusted, but on the whole most have not. I'm not surprised that some Germans would see this as a German government duty to address, but to me it's clearly not. You wish to live in Germany as a beneficiary of their system then learn their language and their ways. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Good question but probably moot here: “Crap German” seems to be a poor attempt to translate “scheiß Deutscher” into English (or even more likely, in the typically awful German spoken by Turks: “Scheise Deutsch!” with voiced ‘s’).

Unemployed non-citizens should have only one government benefit available to them: a one-way ticket (cattle class) back to where they came from...
