Tragically the Founding Fathers did not include the right to privacy in the Declaration of Independence.

My point is to view the reality of the present. The Rats have shown us that to insure big and bigger government they will not hesitate to fraudulently subvert elections.

To elect leaders who will reduce the size of government fraud must be eliminated.

A theoretical pure thought may be intellectually comforting, but has no effect against those who ruthlessly crave power.

The choice is left to the individual. If you value the secrecy of your identity more than you value voting, you have the option of choosing to not vote.

Do you like the fact that civil servants in the German Tax Agency can - without even grounds for suspicion, let alone a court order - check to see how much money you have in your account(s), what checks you’ve written or cashed, etc.?

They were thinking that to make this thing work we must hammer out practical pragmatic solutions to the myriads of problems inherrent in forming a government.

Our votes are becoming more worthless...and our strong effort to have a clean financial record are heading in the same direction. Should I just settle back and accept all of this...and be happy that I am so “free”...or should I finally stand up and clean up the mess. Being “free” in such a republic...doesn’t mean much unless you protect what you have earned.

Bingo, if we don't protect or vote, then election results, are going to be what ever the media tells us it is.

Our forefathers are spinning in their graves. I can hardly believe it myself when I think of how we were in the 40’s and 50’s and then what the hippie generation brought to our nation. Very sad and disheartening to see our country go down the tubes.

Strictly speaking, all the Declaration did was kick off our separation from the Mother Country. It's the U.S. Constitution that frames our system of government, and, thanks to the Supreme Court that gave us Roe v. Wade, it does include a right to privacy... at least in its emanations and penumbras.

Ah!Your response is the very stuff that generated the Roe vs Wade decision and recently the Lawrence ruling by the USSC.

By complete avoidance of the stated Declaration of Independence
and The Bill of Rights replacing these with law manufactured from whole cloth.

The opening of the Declaration of Independence written by Thomas Jefferson in 1776, with which you have elected to illustrate your position, states as follows:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

However,no one can define “unalienable Rights” and hence elevate privacy as one of them.

wtf are you talking about? by your "logic," Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are not eligible to be "elevated" to the status of "inalienable right."

However, if the premise is that this Creator is the sort who has defined inalienable rights for men, then, whoa, all of a sudden the whole thing begins to make sense.

To those who aren't in permant mental exile, that is.
