But, according to the paul haters here his supporters are mostly leftwing moonbats. How can that hurt the R chances?

My bet is that Ronnie will draw more votes away from the Demagogue candidate than the GOP's candidate.

They really need a none-of-the-above on presidential ballots. That is already in place; they call it the write-in vote. If no candidate offered is acceptable, write in one who is.

But, according to the paul haters here his supporters are mostly leftwing moonbats. How can that hurt the R chances?I've not taken part in many of the Ron Paul threads because I don't see him as a serious candidate and I do see him as a nut. I believe when "paul haters" say his support comes from "leftwing moonbats" they mean his financial support to achieve what I described...the election of the former first co-dependent or B. Hussein Obamanation.

No clinton has ever been elected president by a majority of votes cast.Translation, for those of you in Rio Linda....
...a Third Party candidate is exactly what is needed to ensure Sen Clinton the White House.

I agree...if true; I don’t see this helping the Democrats at all.

It’ll hurt the dem’s more than us. Paul’s getting his support from the looney fringes. Not the kind of people who would vote for a GOP candidate anyway. Let him run. I hope Bloomberg runs too.

But, according to the paul haters here his supporters are mostly leftwing moonbats. How can that hurt the R chances?Ron Paul gets most of his FINANCIAL support from leftwing moonbats and most of his POLITCAL support from duped libertarians and conservatives.
Is that clear enough for you?

I considered buying a coin just as a political memento, but I don’t want anything I purchase going to benefit his campaign in the least. I guess in a few years somebody will probably be trying to unload that stuff at pennies on the dollar, if not melting it down.

The Clinton playbook again. A bogus third party populist to help a candidate who can’t get a majority vote.

I believe when "paul haters" say his support comes from "leftwing moonbats" they mean his financial support to achieve what I described...the election of the former first co-dependent or B. Hussein Obamanation. Exactly. The left is pumping up his campaign to ensure a third party candidate. That's the only way Clinton or Obama can win. The left wants PR to run 3rd party. I wish the Paulie WalNUTS would get that.

I had the great misfortune to flip past Joe “Pig Eyes” Scarborough’s show on MSNBC this morning. They were grilling Rue Paul on his recent Civil War comments. They had him stumbling and stuttering, explaining and re-explaining.

Ron Paul has stated he wouldn’t run on a third party ticket. This may be driven by his supporters, however, if true what’s in it for him? What would be his motivation?
He can’t seriously believe he could win, so why do it?
