Still think that someone that posts here did the Rush attack. One of our very own open border loons.

If the Huckabites think that Rush can’t knock their lights out they had better think again.

anonymous remarks Thursday from a Huckabee backer I love anonymous sources. Gee, maybe a Romney or McCain... Nah, politics is pure as the driven snow. Shame on Rush for giving that kind of credibility to an anonymous source. If Rush doesn't like Huckabee he should just come out and say it, not use such a flimsy allegation to attack him.

And as for Huckabee's plea for Limbaugh to get in touch, the man behind the golden EIB microphone said this: [T]here are people on his Arkansas staff who know full well how to reach me and they have not. But that is not necessary to me. We're not playing in a kindergarten sandbox here. We are all presumably adults."Limbaugh did, though, offer a timely coda: "I wish Gov. Huckabee a Merry Christmas."
Huck couldn't shine Rush's shoes.

No kidding. :) I was driving with my fiancée to Michigan and was listening to Rush’s show on Friday. I think Huckabee’s people didn’t realize they were “throwing down the gauntlet”. Presumably, they were quite surprised when Rush took on their challenge.
I’m settling into the recliner, I have the popcorn and drink. I think it will be very interesting over the next several days.

He also struck back, calling the attacks "Clintonian" and accused Huckabee's campaign of "trying to dumb down conservatism in order to get it to conform with his record." Now THAT is going to leave a mark!

Rush will be back on January 2, the day before the primary in Iowa. He has a big golden mike and three hours to influence conservatives before they vote that Tuesday.
When you take a butter knife to the King, you'd better kill him. Huck's advisors didn't heed this adage.....and Rush will have the last word on the 2nd, heheh.

Chucklebee should stop while he is ahead, Rush is back on the air the day before which would be real bad for Chucklebee. We’ve already had one glib talking flim-flam man as President, we don’t need the conservative version to prove to us it is a really bad idea in the first place.

Rush just put an end to Huckabee’s campaign im my opinion. Responding to the comments of Huckabees’s staff comments wasn’t the only thing Rush had to say about Huck. He also commented on his political record which Rush said isn’t conservative.
So long Huck, we hardly knew you.
