LOL...yes, Alan “Mr. Lonely” Greenspan and the Moaners at CNBC have been talking up recession all year, and then the booming consumer spending report came out Friday that showed no one is listening. Oy wey...the panty-wetters on Wall St. may not have as much influence on Main St. as they fantasize they have. Their disappointment was palpable.
True, the sub-prime lenders are getting a few million dollars less in bonuses this year after losing billions for their financial institutions, but did they really think people should be buying McMansions with no money down and very little income coming in? I guess that’s what they pay big bucks for on that planet called “Wall St.”
