Michael Rubin on Hugh Hewitt - discussing Huckabee's ignorance and naivte on Iran

If you're a Huckabee supporter, it's important for you to listen to understand why Huckabee is not the man for the job of President at this time. Iran is too important an issue to trust to someone who is so ignorant/naive.

You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone, Iranian or otherwise, who understands Iran & this regime better than Michael Rubin and who will give you the truth and facts.

The Rubin segment is about 8 mins and starts at @10:37 in the program.

The way competing factions are trying to assassinate Republican candidates, the last guy standing will be so bloodied that he wont have a chance against the Dem. This is really getting ugly.

Huck seems strong on social issues and weak on most everything else.

Does Rubin even speak Farsi or any other indigenous language of Iran?

I’m getting tired of ‘experts’ who can’t or don’t even speak the language of their chosen country.

Iranian or otherwise, who understands Iran & this regime better than Michael Rubin - so he says someone with less knowledge on the subject than him (which I suppose is everyone) is ignorant on the subject? great witness

Does Hugh Hewitt's program count as a contribution to the Romney campaign, or what?

He takes idolatry to a whole new level.

“Does Hugh Hewitt’s program count as a contribution to the Romney campaign, or what?”

Don’t know. I get tired of it too.
I’m not a Romney supporter, but Hewitt’s support of Romney doesn’t have a lot to do with Michael Rubin’s observations regarding Huckabee’s stance on Iran.

You gotta separate the wheat from the chaffe. That’s how you get down to the final nominee. Politics isn’t pretty.

I am beginning to think the parliamentary system in Britain is superior to ours. Direct elections of presidents is becoming a media distortion circus. Also, why should States like Rhode Island have the same number of U.S. Senators as States like California or Texas? That’s how we get clowns like Harry Reid running the Senate. Maybe it’s time for the Military to take over (JUST KIDDING).

Umm.... Hewitt brought him on the show to attack Huckabee?

No, you're right, that's crazy.

Hugh has lost all credibility in this election cycle. He’s just a mouthpiece for team Romney and thus I couldn’t be less interested in what he has to say about anything.

It’s not what Hewitt has to say that means anything. It’s what RUBIN has to say that’s important.

Thanks for this post.

As an almost single issue person--NATIONAL SECURITY--this concerns me. I think many important issues should not be the main focus in Presidential elections. There are other ways to deal with them. THAT is not the case with NATIONAL SECURITY!

Also, see his lack of understanding of US-Cuba issues:
HuckaGenius Wasn’t Aware of Issues Between U.S. and Cuba in 2002
