This situation, as the facts have been reported, doesn't even come close to approaching my own standards for removing my own life support - especially from a verification standpoint. The article said 20 specialists weighed in. With a severed spinal cord and 20 specialists saying the person won't recover -- it sounds like they have sought multiple opinions. Assuming sufficient verification has been there comes a point where keeping a person articially alive on life support is futile.

If they are 20 specialists who are all part of the same institution, then that's 1 specialist with 19 got-your-back opinions. Hence my earlier comment.

With Terri Schiavo, the judges threw out the doctors who said Terri simply needed her rehab started again and kept in all the euthanasia medical prostitutes who were paid for by the lawyers who stole Terri's rehab funds to kill her with.
There were more doctors for Terri than who advocated killing her but Judge Greer was beyond biased.
