Terror Financing: After the Holy Land Foundation case ended in a mistrial, Muslim groups cheered and scolded the U.S. for a witch hunt. But defendants got some help from the inside.
According to interviews conducted since the October mistrial, juror William Neal intimidated colleagues into voting for acquittals of Holy Land leaders accused of funneling millions to Hamas suicide bombers and their families.
Neal, a Dallas graphic artist who voted not guilty across the board, launched into obscenity-laced tirades against jurors whenever they tried to argue for conviction. "F--- your opinion," Neal, 33, allegedly shouted at 49-year-old juror Kristina Williams.
Two other jurors leaning toward guilty verdicts corroborated the account in interviews with Steve Emerson's Investigative Project. Sylvester Holmes, for one, says Neal trashed any evidence presented by the government and "took control of that jury room."
Neal convinced jurors it was a "waste of time" to view key surveillance videotapes of defendants scheming to disguise terror payments as charity. He discredited prosecution witnesses as Israeli tools. And he dismissed as "an exercise in free speech" a fundraising skit in which one Holy Land defendant is shown lionizing a Hamas terrorist for killing an Israeli.

Thanks to one jurist, a pro-terrorist failed to get his way. How brave of her.
If I would of been in the juror pool, I would be brought up on charges of Battery...would've kicked his A$$!
This article attempts to paint one juror as evil, but does a better job of painting 10 of the other 11 jurors as morons.

Hopefully, this arrogant pos will qualify for an exit interview with mossad.
Oh, yes, the mossad have ways of dealing with these sort of people. :)

Bad headline,IMO.
This sounds more like juror misconduct than nullification.
Thanks for the ping Calpernia.
Why isn’t this foundation treated as an enemy combatant?
OPINION:
That’s a good question, Calpernia.
See the website of the Fully Informed Jury Association (www.fija.org)
The goal of people who advocate that potential jurors have a responsibility to know and exercise their rights and obligations as jurors is justice, not anarchy or helping the guilty get off.
As wusses, you mean.
Well, God bless Kristina Williams.
It’s disgusting that one foul-mothed blow-hard bully like Neal could so influence things. If only Ms. Williams and the other jurors had had the guts to complain to the judge and get him kicked off in time for an alternate.
Years ago, there was an article [before internet as I recall].
That told how lawyers chose the jury.
The title was something like “125 questions to ask the prospective juror”.
With the answers to the seemingly odd questions, they could tell how the juror would vote.
Now, I understand they hire a company who determines how each person will vote.
Not the best way to have a fair and just trial, decided by a mixture of common people.........
