A man convicted of spying for Saddam Hussein's former regime and sharing information with the executed Iraqi dictator's intelligence service was sentenced Thursday to 18 months in prison, federal prosecutors said.

“He was paroled in 1996 after serving six years of a five- to 15-year sentence for manslaughter in the stabbing of his son-in-law, Emad Muttar, in Dearborn.”

I would love to know the details of the plea agreement. Was there not enough evidence to convict the traitorous scumbag of murder? That, to me, would be the only acceptable reason for the manslaughter conviction.
