Guard's hands "didn't even shake" as she shot gunman
The guard who saved untold lives at New Life Church gives credit to God for giving her cover, and boosting her firepower as she shot a heavily-armed gunman.
"I give credit to God. I say that very humbly," said Jeanne Assam. "God was with me, the whole time I was behind cover. Based on the firepower he had, compared to mine."

No way. A legal defense fund would spontaneously erupt, and there would be outrage in the district that elected the District Attorney of the jurisdiction if she were to be harassed.

I suspect her legal woes are just beginning. I will bet money that you are wrong. As justified of a legal cause for lethal force as there can be. There are hundreds of witnesses, the intent of the dead guy is not in doubt, she was legally carrying a firearm, she stopped the deadly threat. Unless she is found to be a convicted felon, high on drugs, etc., no DA in America would do anything but thank her.

Nice shot! This wonderful volunteer’s good shooting saved the tax payers hundreds of thousands of dollars prosecuting him and having the media make a circus of this for years to come. We would have had to listen to and read about the gunman being a product of abuse and how we should pity him.”
