Violent El Salvador gang infiltrates North Texas

DALLAS - Considered the most violent gang in the United States, MS-13 members enter the country illegally and then commit some of the most violent crimes.

Despite being deported twice already, two alleged members were arrested in Dallas Tuesday.

MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha, is so notorious, two years ago the FBI made the group one of its top priorities to dismantle. Authorities said they are a threat to the country because they smuggle drugs and illegal immigrants across the border, and then murder, rape and rob victims within the U.S.

Olager Rosales said he was watching television when four alleged gang members broke into his apartment to rob him.

"When they came to beat me up, the first thing they said was, 'We are MS-13. Hands up,'" he said.

The robbers got away with about $30 and a Playstation. For police, the people who committed the crime have raised big concerns. Authorities said they believe the four men are members of the violent gang.

"They have tattoos showing they are MS-13," "They even have tattoos on their feet."

Police arrested Ariel Hernandez and Osbin Hernandez, who have both been deported twice already after committing crimes in the U.S., for the crime.

"They have beaten up a lot of people and are very violent,"

The gang originated in El Salvador but have a strong hold in the U.S. Its members are forced to endure a severe beatings in order to enter the gang.

"You have to prove yourself as a gang member who is the meanest, and everyone has to be scared of you," said Jonathen Reyes, a former member and twice convicted killer.

MS-13 targets illegal immigrants to join the gang and then have them commit violent crimes.

US Border Patrol (USBP) Laredo Sector Chief Carlos X. Carrillo says that catching MS-13 and keeping them out of the US isn’t in his job description.

Mara Salvatrucha - 13 is no doubt a growing threat in the US. ‘MaraÂ’ is a Spanish slang for ‘gangÂ’ and “Salvatrucha” is a blend of Salvadoran and trucha. Anyway, weÂ’re here to do some tat talk. MS-13 gang members mark their upper body in Gothic. Apart from ‘MS - 13′ or ‘EmeseÂ’ - short for ‘Eme Ese,Â’ the pronunciation of MS in Spanish, that has to be there, they even mark “SUR” for sureño or “southerner”, dices, crossbones and daggers.

They even ink teardrops. Teardrops under their left eye represent a shot or a wounded gang member and those under right eye represent their combat with the rival gangs. The punch (above) of one of the convict shows tattoos of a club and a spade symbol over the ‘M’ and ‘S’ to hide his association with MS-13. The whole thing earlier read ‘GMSP’ across four fingers where ‘G’ and ‘P’ stood for his territory Greenspoint. MS – 13 tattoos reveal specialties of gang members; one expert in dealing with explosives had a grenade tattooed on his back. All these markings will haunt them for sure, if they somehow survive and I doubt that.

It doesn't seem to be going too well for the FBI, does it?

Maybe they could pull a few agents investigating dangerous criminals like the white kid that got beat up by the gang of blacks in Jena, LA and assign them to this other "TOP PRIORITY".
