This makes me feel as if I'm living and a real-world edition of Atlas Shrugged.

The narrative of redemption through a Savior to come is woven through the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. David, for example spoke of his redeemer, expecting the eventual coming of the Messiah. The life of Joseph is a type of Christ figure. The Magi (not Jews) knew of the coming Messiah from prophecies hundreds of year old even in their day. There are more examples. You're reading that level of sophistication into a woman who didn't know whether the earth was flat or round?

But, yes, Christ entered time and space well after the Psalms and the OT were written. At which point Christianity could begin existing, not before.

You can’t get older than God and God is Christian. I don’t want to pretend that I can explain God but I think it is pretty much a given that God in his infinite wisdom must have known that by creating the universe and everything in it, that there would be evil unleashed and it can be plainly surmised that God must of had a plan to deal with it and ultimately protect his personal domain (Heaven). Therefor as far as I am concerned yes the Lady is correct. Nothing predates Christianity because it can be said God is Christian.

Yes.
If the lady had said “Christ predates Greek Philosophy” then she would have been unequivocably correct.
But the statement “Christianity predates Greek Philosophy” - only makes sense if she meant Judeo-Christianity: the religion of the One True God that Christ came both to fulfill and reveal.
You know what? I’m going to cut her a break on this one. She seems a nice girl.

My thoughts as well. She is either too deep for TV or too shallow. She is not just right.

“this lady looks like she has child-like charisma, which could work on TV. She doesnt seem to be mad and bad like ODonnell.”
I agree; despite her appalling ignorance, she seems sweet, and on THAT show, with THOSE baying leftist hounds, it does come across as refreshing, maybe even endearing.

Christ always is. Agreed. But Christianity is the religion based upon Christ's life and teachings. It did not exist before His worldly presence. Christianity is not the same as Christ.

She’s right.
The Old Testament testifies of Jesus Christ, too, it is just that it has gotten lost in all of the translations over the years. Essentially, Jews were Christians until they rejected Christ.
To believe otherwise, you would have to believe that four thousand years after Adam and Eve, the Lord, said, hmmmm, I was hoping they could do it without me, but I guess I’ll have to go ransom the sinners since no one else will.

I think she probably spoke sloppily. As others have pointed out, Christ existed from the beginning, but the religion itself did not.
But note also the teachings of Justin Martyr who said that Abraham and Socrates (to name two) were "Christians before Christ". Now, one may decide that this is unconvincing, but the notion that Christians were around before Greek Philosophy began, is not new.
But I doubt that Sherri knows about Justin Martyr.
