Sorry, Eric, I had to take some folks off it and must have accidentally remove you.
My 'senior moment' cut 'n paste can be deadly!!! Especially when I'm drinking!
My apologies and you will now be pinged whenever I cut the cheese on those whippersnapper Packers!
Now, if all the Packer females.. would wear their cheesebras, I cut them some slack!

Have you ever seen Tony Romo’s impression of Brett Favre? It’s hysterical. Brett was his boyhood idol growing up in IL.
I’m about Brett Favre’s age. It’s pretty humiliating and I can understand how he feels when he hears that the guy he is playing against used to watch him on TV when he was a kid.

Surgeon General Warning: This thread has been hijacked by Cowboy fans. There will be no more discussion of cats.
I went to the Viking game in Big D a few weeks ago. Tried to convince the Viking fans in the hotel over a few beers to trade for Herschel Walker again and give us some more draft picks.

10 Years ago, my friends dog chased my cat (with only 1 eye) about 80 feet up one of the massive Oak trees in our yard. My wife was upset because "Buddy" was sitting in a crook of the tree at least 80 feet off the ground - with no branches between him and the ground. She wanted to know "what we were going to do"! I said "nothing - he's a cat - he'll figure it out himself".
We sat on the porch, drinking coffee looking at him. After 10 minutes or so, he screwed up his courage, and "ran" headfirst down the tree. About 5-10 feet was all he could get before gravity took over and he jumped the remaining 70 or so feet to the ground, and took off running into the house - no injuries to be seen.....but he never did THAT again.
Of course, he was just a little "lighter-than-air" kitty then. Now, 12 years and about 25 pounds later, he'd be "cat protoplasm in a fur sack" if he tried that trick again.

People think cats survive falls. My one year old cat fell off a 12 foot dresser in my house and shattered his ball joint in his hip/leg. It had to be completely removed.

I feel ya. I found this particular thread relevant as we just spent $2000 on a bladder surgery for the cat... kidney stones. The family will be getting petting rights certificates to the cat as the christmass presents this year. But he’ll be with us for quite some time.
Note of experience - get pet health insurance. If we had it, it would have paid off 7 years worth of premium.

Yup, actually I got to thinking of all my vet bills including neutering and he is actually a 2500$ cat...However he is worth it to us. He gets around well for only having 3 legs. He can still kick a dogs ass too...lol.
