A $5000 leg replacement surgery. Only $4900 more expensive than the usual procedure, the total cat replacement.

A hundred bucks for a cat? You gotta be kidding!

Where I come from, folks will almost pay you to take 'em! ;-)

A couple of NY vets started studying high rise cat falls, since they dealt with so many of them.

The vets said that falls from less than (3 or 4 stories?) were very dangerous for cats because they hit while tightened up, but that higher falls were more often survived because the cat relaxes, reaches critical speed and then hits with the blow being more evenly distributed from it’s feet to it’s belly and rib cage.

They said that cats often survive 20 story type falls.
